If only Mark Hammil could have been lured out of Joker Retirement.

I love Hamill's take on the character, I really do. I grew up on it, loved seeing it get a bit more mature in the movies in the series, and really get some room to breath in the Arkham games. I usually even read comics featuring Joker in the voice, occasionally out loud (Disturbed my friend by telling the joke from Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth... He hadn't read it and became a bit uncomfortable). However, with as many different iterations of these characters as exist out there, there is plenty of room for newcomers and different takes on the character. Hopefully one day we'll get an animated The Killing Joke, as that is what Hamill has said he'd come back for, but I don't know if WB would be able to do that story justice without going R. |

I just said I liked what I heard thus far. Conroy is the best.
Wait until you hear it before knocking it.

I’m glad Part 2 is coming in early 2013 (hopefully around March) so we don’t have to wait a long time to see the conclusion of the story. Anyway, I’m very excited about part 1 and hopefully it will do justice to the amazing graphic novel.
Pre-Ordered: The Little Mermaid, Iron Man 3, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, The Sword in the Stone, From Up on Poppy Hill, The Muppet Movie, Robin Hood.

Figured it would be old chunky Batman. Hopefully Part 2 gets a DKR Robin.
Bat-Mite: "Batman's rich history allows him to be interpreted in a multitude of ways. To be sure, this is a lighter incarnation, but is certainly no less valid and true to the character's roots then the tortured avenger, crying out for mommy and daddy."

The Blu-ray is region free, but the DVD is R1, R3 and R4 (just like every other WB DC title since Justice League: Doom).

Watched it this morning.
Not bad, not bad at all. My only complaint is Weller's dialogue being slightly low in places. Transfer wise, didn't see any problems, just the odd bit of banding, which seems to be in just about all these DC titles, but not the worst I've seen. People not familiar with the material, might feel it borrows ideas from the recent live-action movies, but obviously it's the other way around. Bring on Part 2.
