Xbox 360 Halo 4 bundle fights new enemies, packs familiar hardware on November 6th

Thanks to a unexpected bill my plans for picking up the game on Tuesday has been cancelled. Debating on if I should get something off eBay or what? Planning on picking up the anniversary game at a local store for $15. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get the game and a live membership at a discount? My plan was to get Halo 4, Anniversary and 12 month Gold membership for around $83. Frustrates me that I can't make this happen. Being a responsible adult sucks sometimes.

Sent you a PM. Best place to get the XBOX Live 12-month is on eBay when Buy.com or Toys R Us offers them for $35 shipped. They just had it yesterday on there, and my guess is they will appear again soon with the holidays fast approaching. You should check the video game deals thread as they get posted there when they go live on eBay.

PM replied and answered. Yeah, like I said being a responsible adult blows at times. My wife offered to reschedule with my buddy, but I can't let us be tight for a week. I just wouldn't be able to enjoy the game if that happened. I'm sure like everything a good deal will happen or I'll just be a little late to the party. Anyway, appreciate the assist. I'll try and be a bit more patient. Not something I'm good at.

The bundle is like $50-100 too high.

I've been hard on Halo special editions because they were ripoffs but Halo 4 limited seems like good value. The map packs are $25-30 so the extra stuff is only $10-15 if you want to evaluate it like that.

Also helps that I sold all 3 Best Buy pre-order items for $35 and got a $20 rewardzone code to bring it down some.

I finally finished up Doom 3: BFG Edition yesterday and moved on to Halo 4. So far I've played the first two levels and I'm really liking it. The low gravity jumps don't seem as pronounced as they were in previous games and I like the third person kills when you sneak up and melee an enemy.

I think it's a great deal since you're getting a 320GB HDD, the hottest game for the console right now, and two controllers. A 4GB arcade console is $200, Halo 4 is $60, and extra controller is $50, and a 320 HDD is $100 (or more). More like it saves you $60 as opposed to buying all the stuff separately.

If you mean difficulty I'm playing on regular or normal or whatever it's called. I usually go with the standard difficulty level the first time I play a game.

Has anyone played Spartan Ops yet? I thought I read that a 4-man team should be able to tear through Episode One in about an hour. Just checking to see if there's any truth to that.

yeah but only people who don't know better pay $50 for a controller and $100 for a HDD

Yeah I sold both of my COD MW 3 controllers I got with the bundle for $65 each.

Bought a 360 for this and the gears of war series. Just finished it today. What a great game! The chemistry between Master Chief and Cortana is fantastic! Freaking dying to see what happens in the next game!

So I just installed the first disc onto my HD and now I'm wondering what is on the 2nd disc? It doesn't seem to want to install and I'm curious if this is kind of like ME3 where you needed to play the first disc before anything would unlock?

1st disk is game disk, second is the BIG install file.

2 then 1 and you should be good to go.

I figured this would be the best thread for anything Halo related. I bought some Game Fuel and have no need for the Dew XP. It's available to the first person to claim it. I'll be getting more codes soon.
