See somebody who wasn't dead inside or without humor would clearly be able to see that was a lighthearted statement not to be taken seriously.

Mine came in from the states to aus today. Me and my wife have Thursday night movie night so we'll watch it then.

Probably won't have any weed 'till next week, so we'll polish off a bottle of red and most likely enjoy the laughs and pop all the same. I should wait for a smoke, but I really want to watch this seen as we were robbed of a theatrical release over here.

Understood. It just shows how the laying out of words in certain ways can mean something to some and be misinterpeted by others.

Ah well I used dead inside cause I've had people tell me that if I couldn't enjoy the Toy Story movies or Christmas movies I was dead inside. Before 3D I tended to avoid such movies. Now I can enjoy a Toy Story or a Christmas movie. As long as the Christmas movie has drug use and sexual humor and absurd 3D effects.

Excellent movie. 10/10.

I'm a long time fan of the series, and this was by far not the best. Probably the worst. But brilliant all the same.

The 3D varied in quality. But I think the semi-flat presentation of some of the "lesser" moments really accentuated the excellent 3D during those gimmicky moments that made the film.

The blu gets released in early December in Australia. Man was I pissed when it wasn't released at the cinemas here.

This will be the first Xmas movie I watch to get in the mood for Xmas. I haven't read any reviews so I hope the 3D will not be weak so I can really enjoy it, love Harold & Kumar.

I have never seen a Harold and Kumar movie before but i picked this up today due to the 3D. I picked it up in HMV. Nice slipcase but the price sticker has taken all the foil off so i just left it on. Grrr, bit annoying. I'll hopefully get to watch this later and will post my thoughts then.

Default New 3D versions no longer flipper disks?

I just picked up the 3D version from Best Buy the other day. I have the 2D version that was a flipper disk with the blu-ray on one side and the DVD on the other. My understanding was that the 3D version also used to be a flipper disk as well. However the 3D copy I got from Best Buy isn't a flipper disk, it has the 3D version on one disk, the 2D extended and theatrical on another disk, and the DVD on a 3rd disk. Is this how the 3D version used to be before or is this new? Anyone else get a non-flipper disk version of this movie as well?

Does this Blu-ray 3D still come with the lenticular slipcover? I tried to pick it up at Best Buy last week, but they were sold out. I'm not sure if I should just order it from bestbuy.com because I want the slipcover.

The 2nd film is really funny. It has what is, IMO, one of the all time funniest sequences in a film. Here is a very brief but kinda sorta spoilerish thing about it
[Show spoiler]the scene towards the end with the guy playing George W. Bush is 100% comedy GOLD!!! I love comedies but its really rare these days a film makes me laugh out loud, or even laugh at all to be honest...but this scene had me laughing for days.

USA version originally came with a Lenticular 3D Slip-cover. Don't know about later batches.
