[Show spoiler]I thought the transfer in places was great, considering the original release was 1978. I liked the characters & I felt the emotions that they were experiencing. The claustrophobic feel to it even thought it was an open prison & the fact that this actually happened was an eye opener. I had to raise the volume on several occasion but only due to whispering, which was part of the role, nothing to do with the audio levels on the Blu Ray. Overall i'm glad I finally had the time to sit down & watch this movie & i'm sure i'll watch it several times in the future.
Bout time too.

First time watch for me, didn't think it was that bad but probably wouldn't watch again.

I can't stand Jack Black, the reason I have still to watch King Kong after buying it ages ago and it looks great on Blu-ray.

Yes, he is extremely annoying...although I didn't mind him in Tropic Thunder.

Watched
Inferno - Arrow Video

Not seen this for about 25 years, saw it cheap on Zavvi and took a punt. Glad I did, I had forgot just how atmospheric it was the underwater scene is beautiful.
Just getting back into this, didn't realise how much I had missed it.

It is a good film. I always enjoy shoot em up. A fast fun over the top. Action comedy.

Yer it's great! The long takes in it are masterful.

Not the most cheery viewing on a Sunday afternoon though

Well, that was an "interesting" movie. Definitely not what I was expecting. Liked it a lot, but it just took me by surprise...
