With the help of the amazing little Phonic PAA3 analyzer, I managed to equalize the Behringer equalizer. Because of this, the sound quality has improved drastically.
I posted the results in Post #2 of this thread. It may also not be a bad idea to check Post #2 of the Phonic PAA3 thread.

Very impressive response graph BD. Have you tried a house curve?

Thank you.
Initially, before I took any measurements, I tried several house curves with different slopes and didn't care for the sound. It became too bass heavy. I really spent a great deal of time tweaking the equalizer. That little Phonic analyzer was a big help. To my ears, I can hear significant improvement, particularly in the mid-range. I am hearing things that were difficult to hear before.

Great thread! I have AMEX points and I want to bag an equalizer! I am eyeing the FBQ3102, but I am not sure what the difference is to the 6200. All I would really care about are the 31 bands and feedback reduction for my two channel setup. I have two stereo pro amps powering my polk towers, bi-amped.

I am gonna use my credit card points and get the 6200. The only issue I have is that I have bi-amped full-range towers. I suppose I would use the sub/sat configuration on the equalizer and feed the highs (120 hz and up) the L/R signals and the lows (120 hz and below) via subwoofer output on equalizer in mono to the low of L/R towers. Is this advisable?

Question... how high do I have to play Pink Noise to accurately manipulate the response using the EQ sliders? As of now, my equalizer's adjusted with the higher frequencies being boosted and the mid-bass 80-180hz range being attenuated. This is of course by ear and by judging using my favorite tunes. Did you get a high-pitched buzzing noise from your speakers? When I press the bypass button on the EQ, the buzz goes away. None of the bands are boosted any higher than 6 db.
