Onkyo tx-nr818 Price? - Blu-ray Forum

So I have been looking for Onkyo TX-NR818's and I missed two of them from Amazon open box for $650(open box)

. I found a site that will sell me a brand new one for 850 shipped. Should I pull the trigger or do you think they will go on sale for black friday anywhere?

Was talking to a friend who got a 809 last year around black friday for about 600-700 some. Was hoping for the same.

Also taking other suggestions. Current Setup I need to order a new Receiver to hook up my Emotiva XPA-3.

Fronts-Klipsch RF-82II
Center-Klipsch RC-62II
Surround Other klipsch non ref series
Old receiver- Pioneer 1019(No Pre outs)

Let me know what you guys think. Any info will help alot. If you think it's a good deal I may get the 818 tomorrow.

At that price I would take it, I've heard of people getting for that great price occasionally but never less. If the deal is for now, I would take it, just my 0.02

Have been looking to upgrade my legacy 7.1 receiver, an Onkyo TX-SR800. Thanks for the heads up! Great price for the 818.
