I would not be surprised if it not an error. I've been finding popular releases to be overpriced on amazon.com. I've bought vinyl from Canada at 1/2 the price from u.s. sellers

Ordered from amazon.CA under $40 shipped. Very nice.

Yeah that's in line with most other retailers. I've seen them do lowest pricing before, their Beatles price is the lowest by over $20, went down to $298.

I got in on the $27 pre-order, VERY NICE! I choked when I first saw what retailers were listing it for, and I have the other three remasters so far and think they all sound excellent so very excited to get it for this price.

Amazon Canada also has the cheapest price on the new Californication re-issue, mastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering from 24/192 source files. http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00000JQ0E/

and i'll add that the Aeroplane box set is amazing as well. I wonder if that's being released on vinyl.

Amazon.Ca currently shows unavailable. They better not screw us and cancellation orders. Amazon.Com has done this before stating they don't know when the item will be available and cancel my order only for the item to be available again but at a higher price.

I emailed . CA and they said its most likely they have as many orders as units they expect to receive. They still expect to ship.

I guess that person had no idea. I just got an email telling me my order was cancelled, because they weren't able to get the items.

Got another long winded email from .Ca explaining supply fluctuations and other BS and at the bottom it clearly states they expect to receive more stock. Wtf?! Then why cancel my order? There was also the preorder price guarantee. This isn't the first time Amazon pulled this with me and its really sleazy.

I'm about to start believing there's some employee there who just wants to sabotage the company: first this one got two price drops, and also the Thick as a Brick vinyl set, which was ridiculously cheap for pre-order, then got to about $70, and now is again at $26, even though I'm aware they haven't shipped any. Very strange, indeed.

That or more likely they realized they'd take a huge loss and canceled the orders.
