So I offered $15 rather than $25 and the seller accepted. I'm not really into card collecting so I suppose its entirely likely I got jobbed and these things are only worth a couple of bucks... regardless I think they will look neat all framed up and they are 'legit' reprints if that matters to anyone.

Nice score... that seems like a good deal to me, with free shipping too! If you frame them post a pic, I haven't figured out a good solution for mine yet.

Thanks, yeah, I don't have a straightforward idea what I'm gonna do with them yet. I'll see when they got here and will post a pic if it looks worthy.

The stout lotto has come and gone I'm afraid. As the prints for this were already made this lotto happened a lot faster than the usual ones.

Christmas came early yesterday! Picked up a new Winter beater as well as my first tube with more than 1 poster in it!

Yeah his lotto went up the same day after the Mondo sale which I believe is the fastest he has ever done it. I am 0/5 on his lottos including this one so it is pretty hard to score on one. The only difference between his versions and the Mondo ones are his are signed and have a special stamping on the back.

And the stamp is something new afaik, I haven't seen it before. I've been entering the Stout lotto for a while now and I've never been picked. I think I live too close to a major metropolis, I know he does try and spread his prints out across the world, I figure if i lived in Africa or some far flung place I'd have a better chance.

Found it... I used the string 'display movie with poster' took me a couple of attempts but I found it.

Really cool Ken Taylor piece getting released tomorrow by Mondo.

My favorite part though is the Giclee that is getting included with the print... I LOVE IT! Huge Tarantino fan here... If anyone goes for this and isn't interested in it please let me know, I'd grab it from you in a heart beat... I'm away at a conference all day and will zero access to internet. Totally bummed out over this release.

I will guess the release time, see if am at all close. I say between 9:03am and 9:42am pacific time. LOL!

Roar, my uncle and aunt live close to where QT used to work at Video Archives in Manhattan Beach. They said they used to go in all the time in the late 80's/early 90's and he was always there watching movies, helping customers and writing (perhaps what became Reservoir Dogs?). They said he was obsessed with films but always quite nice and passionate about them (no surprise).

I'd say about five or six years ago I was down visiting, maybe it was longer, everything becomes a blur when you pass 40, and their neighbor knew QT quite well. She found out I was in the movie poster business and came over to my uncle's place when I was visiting and told me about how when Reservoir Dogs opened they had a big private party at the Video Archives store and had the actors and producers and basically people from the film. She went and they had the original movie posters there for a few people to have (and we know that no double-sided originals exist because Miramax only produced single-sided originals until 1995) and she had some. She came over with one and showed it to me and then showed me the ultra-rare Cannes Film Festival style poster that was signed to her from QT. She handed it to me and said she wanted me to have it but I simply could not accept it especially since it was personalized to her. She is a really kind lady, and told me she had more posters, next time I get down there I hope to see her and find out what she has available.
