Now, do I grab Ben-Hur UC, now that the prices are a year old, and lower then wait on this or just go for Lawrence on Black Friday? Hmmm.. decisions.

is it just me but is the slipcover and the cover art blurred out it looks like sort of cheap and bootleggish

No, not just you! I agree 100%. I don't know how this artwork, along with other candidates for the cover, could've slid across the boardroom table and the suits say: Yeah we'll go with this one.

There are so many poignant scenes in this movie, I would have trouble narrowing it down to 50 potential cover shots! Let alone ONE...but the cover selected would not have made my top100!

That's unfortunate. I used to order from DDD frequently back in the DVD days and never had a problem. Looks like they've gone downhill since then.
