I thought this would be a low budget poorly executed thriller slasher but it was very well thought out and choreographed 3D action fest.

My only gripe is its not fulls screen but the image is crystal clear, sharp and bright that makes up for the immersion.

Agreed . Can't wait to pick it up today

I know but everyday I log on here there's something new on sale. We still haven't even gotten to Black Friday yet and I also remember some of the deals being really good the closer it got to Christmas. I have to actually buy gifts for other people and not just for myself. But yeah, it's only a month .

Oh and I still want the Mel Brooks Collection (9 movies) at Costco for $30.

So I went back to Best Buy (a different one than the one I normally go to since I was at my office) to pick up HTTYD and price adjust Madagascar 3D. Stood at customer service for 20 minutes as the employee and manager kept telling me that they couldn't price adjust because the version I bought had the promotional wig and the one for $14.99 was without a wig. They claimed because they had different UPCs. So I said that if someone came in to buy the movie from the ad, they would instead be charged the $34.99 since all of the stock still had the wigs attached. They said yes. Pathetic. Manager finally relented when I told her to check my reward zone and see how much business I give them and she then decided to do the price adjust.

I then went to get a copy of HTTYD 3D. It rang up at $34.99 also. I showed them their online price. Sales person said could not match their own website because it was a different UPC, hence different product. After 10 minutes of questioning, I realized the only difference was that the one for $19.99 is the one with the free movie cash on the front. I went back to the display, grabbed one with the movie cash sticker and voila it rings up at $19.99.

Best Buy is the bane of my existence, yet I'm not sure how I would survive if they do go out of business.

To keep things in perspective, Abe Hunter 3D is good, but compared to Titanic's conversion, pales in comparison as you'll see. Still worth 15 bucks.

Yeah, great deals for 3D. Best of the year. I hear you about buying gifts for others too. I got carried away recently with all these 3D deals and went overboard, but thankfully room to spare for gifts.

Yeah, that is a bummer. Sales will hopefully reach Canada online and walk in stores soon.

i was 200% sure that got to be native 3D....layers upon layers upon layers!! Dust particles floating in my living room!

if its a conversion, then I am a new fan of well made conversion!

Although the shiny steelbooks are very cool I personally would much rather have access to a variety of 3d movies for under 20 dollars. Steelbooks at FS are cool but inexpensive 3d is like gold and very hard to come by around here ;-).

Ordered Resident Evil Afterlife and Final Destination 5 for $15 each at BestBuy.com, woohoo!

Two movies I've wanted for a while but seemingly wouldnt drop in price.

Can't wait to watch FD5. Heard so many good things about the 3D and how its one of the better films of the franchise.

How long will these be on offer?

Thinking of buying Journey 1 and Final Destination 4.

Any recommendations for animation? I don't really have any apart from Coraline and Cloudy.

I recommend any of the Dreamworks Animations' movies - they're all equally amazing on 3D. Tangled is pretty good too - mixed range of good depth and pop-outs.

Get Lion King as it may go in the vault. Madagascar 3 is pretty solid, but I'm not sure if its still $19.99. Journey 1 is technically not animated but it's a solid deal for $14.99

Nice deal. How do you like the 3D in Abe 3D?

14.99 deals won't last, and I'm betting we'll see them jump back up soon enough to 29.99+ in a week or so.

Amazing Spider Man 3D blu ray 19.99 at amazon.com for the moment.

I haven't had a chance to watch it yet lol. Been busy planning Black Friday shopping haha

Kind of wish I had waited a week for that deal lol. Ah well 27.99 wasn't necessarily a bad deal considering what I was getting imo
