Suggest a receiver for under $300

Hello, I currently have already selected speakers... Pioneer bs41 for fronts, pioneer C21 for my center, and pioneer bs21 for surrounds. Now I am left looking for a receiver, I have been eyeing the yamaha 373 but am hesitant to pull the trigger. Please help me pick a receiver, I don't care about network connectivity, I just want the best sound option for my speakers at a decent price.

May I suggest the following, I think this is an excellent bang for the buck, Other members have bought from A4less, maybe they can chime in and give their feedback,but it's generally positive.

This 616 should be way more than the 373 in my honest opnion.

Worse case scenario if you really are struggling with budget, you can go with the 515 and it has free shipping.

Out of curiosity why would you not suggest the yamaha 373? It has overwhelming positive reviews on every site I've checked

I am sure it has positive reviews for it's price point, this is not a matter if not being good but you can have better for the price and what I suggested are factory refurbished units coming with 1 year warranty, they are cheap for what they are.

The Yamana has less inputs compare to the Onkyo 616 or Denon 1912, less bells and wisthles, thumb clip connector vs binding posts on the Onkyo and Denon 1912. Not to mentioon power outputs when driving all 7 speakers, the Onkyo should outperform the Yamaha.

I mean for $299 that Onkyo is a steal, it's less than half it's original price, Not that I don't like Yamaha but you would need at least the 573 to even come close to the 616. I am not an onkyo fanboy nor even came close to get one, my friend has 2 Yamahas, I am just trying to help you have the best bang for your buck.

The Room EQ is also much better than the Yamaha on the Onkyo.
