Amen. Mine sounded awful, just awful right out of the box. Like listening to music through a metal tunnel. Sounded much better with about 15 hours on them.

(is the mirage badge on the front pointing more toward the ceiling or the ground?) Sometimes, the voices are pretty faint, and I feel like there is a trick i just don't know to positioning that center.

Thanks!
As I remember you have the C1 below the screen so you want the Mirage label closer to the ground.

Well the only straight line on the speaker is the rear where it is made to mounted to a wall. The rear should be parallel to a plumb wall or an imaginary right angle from the level floor. Its really very easy. About 3 to 4 feet off the floor for upright mounting would be about right. Sometimes source material has poor dialog from the center also.

This thread is the best advice to balance your speakers after running room correction. Your C1 could be properly placed but could be unbalanced along with all of your speakers. So setting with SPL Meter is a must.

Yeah I borrowed a few pictures. Digital camera went down, and well, you guys take better pictures than me anyways! It's for a good cause though, I am going with C2's as my fronts, and am pretty damn excited about it! And that is a hell of a deal for OMD-15's!
Looking forward to coming back soon with impressions of running C2's as fronts. I believe it to be better a better speaker than the 15

A small commission on sale should be good for use of pictures

I would love to see the C2's as fronts. Plus will you be using a C2 as center also.

Thanks for the compliment !

i've had the 28's for a while they are great. I'm not sure when I can hook up the c-2 I think my only option is to hang my tv. I'm not sure I want to do that.

That's my next change due to the size of the C2 is to move my TV from the spine of the AV stand to the wall. I'm looking at getting a Salamander stand next year so I already have all the dimensions of the stand and the center. So just going to hang the TV in the spot it will need to be for the new stand.
