I don't have any photos of my comics, but have full long boxes. About 5 of them. I am a BIG collector of comics, even more so than Blu-ray's. I get the previews catalogs and know two months in advance what I'll want to read and order through comic dealers.
I go for complete sets. Currently finishing up Avengers Vs. X-men and starting Batman, "Death of the Family." The "New 52" got me into DC comics heavily, and picking up "MARVEL NOW!" as well. Been a MAJOR collector since 1986, off and on. The Avengers Vs. X-men, leading into Marvel Now! was just pure luck that I walked into getting those. I had been collecting comics that sounded "cool" at the time, going back to Avenger's Children's Crusade and it all ended up leading into MARVEL NOW! totally by accident. With the movies coming out now and DC and MARVEL's exec. decisions to do what they're doing, I am again excited about comics, for the first major time in forever! Good time to be a collector!!!!

Raphael without a doubt!

As a collector, my only problem with IDW is with individual issues. There are way too many variant covers. I'm limited to just reading the trades. To quote a line from Michelangelo to Donatello in TMNT II, "Is like Schwarzenegger hard to spell?"

^ Nice!
Some pretty awesome collections on here, guys. It's great to see this amazing hobby continuing to thrive amongst the Blu-ray (i.e. tech savvy) crowd! I've been collecting since I was 7. These are some of my gems: Amazing Spiderman 50.jpg Fantastic Four 48.jpg Hulk 181.jpg Giant Size Xmen 1.jpg Thor 126.jpg I stopped collecting about 7-8 years ago. It was just getting too hard to keep up with the slew of books coming out each week, and the prices were getting out of control. Besides, now there's this whole Blu-ray thing going on. |

I'll take some pics. My collection is all TPB's/HC's. I've moved to 100% digital for weekly issues.
