Hi.Does anyone have any issues when the darblet is plugged in between your av receiver and tv with the Audio Return Channel from tv back to receiver.

Today is the last day to get the Darbee for 269 at the AVSFORUM..tomorrow the price goes up to 349

This is a great example of the Darbee Pop effect. This is a screenshot of my projector. Notice how the plant apears to be coming forward. Darbee set on 52%

maybe the finished 2K Darbee Fidelio is for you.....available in 2013

but the beta 269 darblet is a keeper for me..I actually have 2

Here is a good example of the detail that can be pushed out by the Darbee.

First shot: Normal frame.

Second shot: Close up shot: Darbee 28%. Fine detail was lost with Darbee off

Jury is out for me, I'd love to try one with my JVC, but 349?!... psh. I have bigger fish to fry first.

Well Check out how zoomed up that picture is and how much detail is still there. Well worth it to me. I sit at a 1.1 screen width ratio.

You can get it a little bit cheaper if you call avs.

Ive had my Darbee since a July & like it a lot,got it for 269.00 and its been worth it.The pq improvement is about 20 % imho if you consider how much are eq cost its a good investment.

I will be getting my Darblet tomorrow. I ordered it from Amazon third party. How can I tell if I have the latest version? I noticed that on Amazon there were two different colors: Black and Blue. Which one is the latest model?

I don't think the colour makes much difference. If you can go into the menu and activate fine adjustment and then can make 1% changes then you have the latest firmware. I don't think there is any old ones left anyway.

I used Lockout first. I had it highly pumped up to about 80%. I was blown away. I now have it down to 30% and find it has a nice increase of detail but still looks like film.

The thing is it works on everything. I watched: Vivre Sa Vie which is 50 years old and the Darbee improved it nicely. With no bad effects.

I'd start out with Prometheus if I were you, something that you almost can't imagine looking any better. With my Darbee it's been my experience that the better the source the more the Darbee can do for it. I'm always playing around with the settings and different modes on mine but I seem to always go back to 54% on my setup.

Have any of the Darbee users out there tried programming their Harmony remote to control the Darbee? I've been meaning to try it out as it would be nice to eliminate the little remote if possible.
