Ideally I'd like the trilogy set on Blu-ray.
I found it in JB at Blacktown yesterday, they had a few copies of it. I was also just in JB on George St Parramatta and they had 2 copies on blu there.

For those of you thinking of importing this, you probably shouldn't bother and just get the DVD.

This is one of if not the worst looking title Sony has ever released on Blu-Ray. This is especially disappointing considering Sony's track record. A brand new release simply should not look this bad. It's barely better than DVD quality.

I didn't think the movie was that bad to be quite honest. Kip Pardue owned! This flick was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Too bad the blu isn't up to par.

I have a horror script I wrote called "Truth Or Dare" It's very Scream like influenced. If interested in reading it. Please PM me.

Region free. The only extra is a commentary track.

Funny thing is I saw the first one and did not like it. Then I saw the second one and really liked it. Tried the first one again and I liked it a lot.

According to http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Hostel...Blu-ray/32591/ it's region free. I like the films from best to worst, 2, 1, 3. I thought the third film really toned down the violence with quite a bit seeming to be off camera.

I agree with you about the third installment. Personally it was getting so obvious I was wondering if they were filming with the movie possibly airing on television instead of the DVD release. That's the only reason I can think of why they would tone down the violence and not up it.
