That's awesome, thanks! I'll have to do a little programming on my Harmony 900 when I get home this afternoon. Does Logitech have the Darbee listed or did you just use the "learn" function?

No I can't do that. However I did calibrate to an average gamma of 2.4 and the way it worked out, my lower half ire are at 2.4, the middle ires are at 2.5 and then it goes down a bit at the higher ires. I think it looks good lol
Oh yeah I got my darblet yesterday. I messed around with it and while the difference is subtle like many have said, I think I like it. I find I need it on 80% though on green hd mode. This may or may not change in the future but for now it's staying at 80 lol Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2 "My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. I haven't had that problem yet with metal objects or people's faces. I'm sure that if I start to see anything funny I will turn it down immediately, but I can't see myself moving it from 80 in the foreseeable future.

Okay I got my Darblet yesterday and going to hook it up today, and after reading all the posts I know what to expect and what settings on the Darblet I should enjoy the most, but where I need my help is the settings on my equipment.
I will be hooking it up between my Yamaha RX-A3000 and my Mits WD-92840 DLP, here's what I will be using and the options I have on them, just need to know what settings to put them on for best use with the Darblet. Badas, I would really like your input if you have the time. Sony BluRay choices YCbCr 4.2.2 or 4.4.4 or RGB or Auto Dune Media Player YCbCr 709 or 601 or RBG Limited or Full it also has HDMI Color Depth of 8,10, or 12 bit Xbox 360 YCbCr 709 or 601 HTPC YCbCr 4.2.2 or 4.4.4 or RGB Limited or Full Hope this makes some sense not very knowledgeable when it comes to these type of settings so any help would be awesome. Thanks Rustolem

Okay, I read in the manuel on-line and on some forums that the Darblet does all it's processing in Y,Cr,Cb. So I don't know if you know anything about colourspace but it is best to not have any back and forth. So if you output say RGB from a player this is what will happen. Y,Cr,Cb 4.0.0 on disc. Converted to Y,Cr,Cb 4.2.2, Converted to RGB in player and sent, Converted RGB to Y,Cr,Cb 4.2.2 in Darbet, then processed, Converted back to RGB and sent to display. Display will do no conversion. Awful. Best thing is to leave the players set on Y, Cr, Cb 4.2.2. Then this is what will happen. Y, Cr,Cb 4.0.0 on disc converted to Y, Cr, Cb 4.2.2 (easy procees. All players do this regardless), Set to Darblet for processing, Once processing is done sent to display, Display changes Y, Cr,Cb 4.2.2 to RGB. Done easy and less chance of bad colourspace handling. That is what I will suggest and use. Note#. Make sure and Amp/Receiver is set to pass the signal. Common refered to as Pass through. Ta Dono

I think so, if my have the option of choosing the "output" on any of the devices that I will be using I should chose "Y, Cr, Cb 4.2.2" on all of them and since the signal will be going through Yamaha and then out to Darby I should have my video option on the Yamaha set to "pass through".
Thanks.

Geez where did everyone go?
Anyway Hello gentlemen and ladies, I re-did my setup over the weekend when I upgraded a Denon 4311CI and a Oppo 103 to my system. One of my goals was to place the Darblet on the back of my display between the upright of the TV mount and the back of the display. It fits perfectly in that area with no need for any use of attachment like Velcro or the like. The front of the Darbee at the new location faces the front wall of my room. I thought I was going to have to run an IR emitter to the Darbee on the back of the TV but to my amazement the Harmony One that has the Darbee codes works without the use of an emitter. My theory is the Harmony sends out such a strong IR signal that the commands for the Darbee are bouncing off the front wall and hitting the Darbee's IR receiver. Very happy with this discovery.
