I'm inbetween answers.

If all they are going to do is follow the typical star wars movie then no...... but if they add new ideas and a fresh take to this rather overhyped franchise then it could be worthwhile

Considering that I was under the assumption that I would never see another Star Wars title in my lifetime, this is a resounding YES!!!!!!

Yes only to prove the point that even Disney and another director can do a much better job than Lucas did with the PT.
Why do studios continue to re-release films on BD when so many catalog titles still are not released?
Wants on BD: La Dolce Vita and La Strada (Criterion), Somewhere in Time, Time After Time, Hooper, King Kong (1976), Urban Cowboy, Murder By Death and The Burbs

Couldn't care less. Lucas sunk that ship years ago with his alterations and the second rate imitation he called a Prequel Trilogy.

As much as I love Star Wars, I'm not sure about this one... A million of little pieces will have to fall in the right place to make this movie right. But who would even direct it? Most of big name directors already said "no". The latest rumors suggest that David Fincher is one of the primary choices on the list.
