Put AOKP jellybean on my S3. Loving it so far

I was gifted with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7") recently. While, not exactly everything I wanted in an Android tablet (hardware wise) I decided not to look a gifthorse in the mouth and use it.

I must say, it is really nice running ICS 4.0.4 and I know it will see Jelly Bean soon. Otherwise, I can't say I am missing much for the lack hardware specs, 'cept for not running some Tegra games in full glory.

Consideration: Back in the good ol' Win/DOS days I bought a 17" monitor to enjoy 800x600 resolution without the eye strain that comes from making everything smaller on a 14" monitor. Having 1024x600 on a 16:9 7" tablet; I really can't complain.

I was told soon by Bell yesterday, as I went in and got the Red S3, because it was free, although I had to pay 185 to flip my contract over for another 3 years. Eventually I'll look at a better tablet. Kinda don't need one now, what with the S3, the iJesusPhone touch, two different iPod Nanos, laptop, Hackintosh netbook, desktop, and a couple ereaders. Hardly use the Nook color now.

Anyone know if there's a way, (without rooting) my phone to make the google play store let me download apps "not in my country" ?

I subscribe to Sports Illustrated and it is supposed to come with a mobile digital copy, which I cant access, and when I shop in the USA, I want to be able to get "shop kicks" or whatever they are...

without rooting? not that i'm aware of. maybe somebody else knows of a way

I'm probably going to trade my S3 for the N4 too. Even if the JB update does come to Canada on Monday I still want to get on the Nexus line for 2 reasons:

1. Updates
2. Eventually break off my mobile contract with Bell (ie: buy my own devices)

Price has been holding me back up until now. If only the N4 would be in stock though

So I won a Galaxy Note 2 at work.....and I'm an iPhone user. I have the iPhone 5 now. I tried the Note 2 for a day and switched back to my iPhone 5, but now I'm thinking I didn't give it a fair shot. It's just difficult I guess even though its such a nice phone.

would probably need to give it a week of use to know if you really like it or not. although, it's huge..so you kinda either do or don't pretty quick

Yeah, I don't think I gave it enough time. Screen is freaking massive though. I will admit that is one area that I absolutely love about the phone.
