Seems like a good deal if you are in a Kellog's cereal eating household as you would spend the money anyways.

However, if you are not (like myself) it would seem that all the effort in the end (2 boxes of cereal + postage) I would only be saving several dollars,,*if a box of cereal cost less than $4 or so.

Is my understanding correct? Appreciate the response, but seems like in my situation it's not really worth all the effort when also factoring in time and gas.

Please correct me if I am wrong though.

Today's Amazon.com "UP BD 3D" combo came with the lenticular slip-cover.

My local Target (inland southern California store) has Up 3D for 34.99 instead of 27.99. On top of that, no one, including the manager, has any idea how the $8 off deal works. The red deal tag is there but they don't know what Blu-ray Disney titles qualify, yet they are adamant Up 3D doesn't qualify because it's new. Go figure. I'd love to support local stores, but not when they're incompetent. I'm going with Amazon this time.

Bit the bullet and paid $30 for it at wal-mart to get a slip with it. Figured what the hell though since I spend $30 for steels sometimes.

Can't wait to watch it again though!

I went to a local Target last night and no one had any idea about it being released yesterday. They tried checking in the back and not one copy in stock. Strange!

Got my copy today, and just want to give a heads up to potential importers out there. The 2D discs, that is the feature and the bonus material, are the same discs as the last release, meaning they're locked to region A. The 3D disc however is region free.

I just got back from my local Target and got Finding Nemo and Up. Just a heads up on the get $8 off when you buy Finding Nemo and another Disney Blu Ray, the only title that applies to that is Tangled. One of the employees looked it up in the computer for me.

I never eat cereals either, but I got 4 boxes of cereals from Target yesterday with 4 manufacturer's coupons for a total of $1, which can let me have a rebate of $20. I think it's worth it. I'll let my dad have the cereals. If you can't get the coupon, there's one type of cereal that's on clearance for $1 each which hopefully your Target carries that.

My Nemo one hasn't come through. It's usually 24 hours after the end of the release day, so by midnight tonight. If I've not had it by the morning, I'll be contacting a rep to adjust it manually.

Got in on the $5 off $25 Amazon promo earlier (http://www.amazon.com/gp/socialmedia.../?t=slicinc-20) and so ordered UP 3D for $22.99 shipped. Had a refund too from my Bat Cowl and some other gift cards to cover the balance. Just got to sell mt 2D combo now.

FWIW - I bought mine from Best Buy and it didn't have the slipcover, either.

Not a huge deal for me, though. It's not like the package has much resale value to begin with, even with the slip.

I bought mine at Best Buy then went to Target, a block away, and asked if I could have the slip cover and the person just gave it to me.

Before lenticular covers where made available, I would throw the slip-cover away thinking it was an added annoyance before opening the case.
Not anymore. I strongly prefer them over just the case. IMO, lenticular slips are a glimpse of what's inside adding to the phenomena of a 3D collection. And it doesn't affect the standard "storage" size taking valuable space a collection needs on the shelf.

Edit: Although IMO, a better way would be to bond the lenticular 3D image directly to the case.

I would love if somebody would like to comment on the actual 3D of the film - has anyone watched it yet? Strong 3d? Weak?
