[QUOTE=Hellboy;6840150]My most recent addition.

Halloween variant by Ken Taylor.[QUOTE]

Those are nice, did you attend the screening in Los Angeles or did you buy on the secondary market? I know the prices were quite high on them, mainly because they were only available at that screening.

I really wish I could have attended the screening but thats a little to far to travel for a movie and a poster.

Since you are in Portland, just south of me as I am in Seattle, flights are cheap to Los Angeles, you could have attended the screening, perhaps it would have cost you just under $200 round trip plus the ticket. But I think it was one print per person and to get that variant I think you had to pay initially the meet and greet price which was $500. But for that price you got to meet Carpenter and perhaps have him sign them. But you did good in getting the prints, Halloween has a major cult following.

Trailer was up for a while today but pulled by NBC Universal. It has Spanish subs. Official US trailer should be up soon.

This is a cool thread...

Just put these up:

First time ever framing posters. I'm not going to go out of my way or spend more than $20 on one poster, but I'll definitely start buying more now. After years of putting up posters unframed, I can't believe what I've been missing. They are so much more gorgeous framed.

Trailer is also up here:

It looks quite good, but you can never really go wrong with a Tom Cruise film in my opinion.

Those appear to be video store posters promoting the home video release, correct? Nice to see the studio go within different for the top one rather than simply use the final style poster imagery.

The first one is, yes. FYE had it if you pre-ordered/bought the movie.

The second one is just a cheap $7.99 poster I got at Toys R' Us lol

Just a quick question for you guys. I've been putting pieces of tissue paper in between prints as a temp until I can get some bags in hand. I recently came across some sites about some tissue paper not being acid-free. Is this true? If so would a 'cheap' tissue paper have any damaging affects on a print?

When you say "pieces" do you mean small pieces, perhaps tissue paper as in toilet paper? I know, stupid question but figured I would ask. I know Staples office supply store sells sheets of tissue paper, I actually use it myself. When I am storing 15 to 20 posters of a same title that are rolled together I then wrap the roll in a sheet of the tissue paper and box them up and it then gets boxed and put on a rack. I think it should be fine for the time being, it's better than putting a poster loosely in a cardboard tube, as cardboard is very acidic and can stain the poster when its pressed up against the walls of the tube.

Here's what i use: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KNPLLU

Probably not as cheap as in-store tissue paper, but easy to add on to an order.

The sheets are 18x24" in size. I picked up 2 packs from the dollar store for a buck. From what I've read it only seems to affect Silk or Wool textiles if using acidic tissue paper for a long period of time, though I wouldn't be too happy if it ruined some of my posters

I use one sheet for all my Whalen/18x24 prints. 2 Sheets for anything larger.

Wow thats an impressive haul. I'd hate to see what the bill was for your framer's work.

I have that Englert and Bertmer myself.

I'm shipping my NotLD to a framer this week thats doing something real unique with it. Should have it back in a month or so.

I almost went with the all white look like you on my Det er en Slags Ting print but instead went with this.
