Just looked on the web for images. Looks like it uses a stardard external power supply almost like a printer sort of. Oh look I found a replacement. Maybe you should try one and see if it fixes the problem.

Cool The one you have now might have a bad wire or shielding causing the issue and for 40 bucks and a healthy return policy it would be simple to try.

The sound is extremely faint (I have to put my ear 6 inches from the speakers to hear it) but it's there .

Do you hear anything while your systems at idle (I mean from 6 inches or so) or am I just nit picking ?

I can hear a "noise" at that distance from my speakers when the EMO's are on

So I easily have over 10,000 cubic feet of volume to fill with sound. Hence the multiple subs. I could easily add more subs and still not overpower the room. But to this day I am still impressed with what few subs I have and how much pressurization I get with the amount of subs I have. I know Russ my self promotion count just went up by one.
Seriously, how Many Subs DO you own/have in that room?

Is it around the 12:45 mark? It does have some good LFE in that scene but nothing of reference quality. I'm interested in the scene in Finding Nemo where Darla taps on the aquarium. In the DVD, the LFE in that scene shook my house. I'm pretty sure the BD should be a least the same or better.

You know I have not checked that lately. But I believe I have a very low noise floor. And yes Russ you are a nit picker.

Just 3 15" Hsu and one older Velodyne that contains a 10" front firing driver and a 12" down firing passive driver.

Not sure, but it sounds like it (early in the film).

So just FOUR (not that Most of us have 4, but I thought you had quite a bit more) --- Still tho', 3 15" Hsu Subs & a 4th with 2 more Woofers must produce some serious LFE

Travis and Russ tend to take my sub totals and multiply them by 2 or 4 so according to them I have as many as 16 subs in my room.

Thought so. I have a great memory. You just have to tell me something once and I'll never forget. Which movie are you and your 13 subs watching tonight, anyway?
