Just looked on the web for images. Looks like it uses a stardard external power supply almost like a printer sort of. Oh look I found a replacement. Maybe you should try one and see if it fixes the problem.

Cool The one you have now might have a bad wire or shielding causing the issue and for 40 bucks and a healthy return policy it would be simple to try.

The sound is extremely faint (I have to put my ear 6 inches from the speakers to hear it) but it's there .

Do you hear anything while your systems at idle (I mean from 6 inches or so) or am I just nit picking ?

I can hear a "noise" at that distance from my speakers when the EMO's are on

Is it around the 12:45 mark? It does have some good LFE in that scene but nothing of reference quality. I'm interested in the scene in Finding Nemo where Darla taps on the aquarium. In the DVD, the LFE in that scene shook my house. I'm pretty sure the BD should be a least the same or better.

You know I have not checked that lately. But I believe I have a very low noise floor. And yes Russ you are a nit picker.

Travis and Russ tend to take my sub totals and multiply them by 2 or 4 so according to them I have as many as 16 subs in my room.
