Problem with my Toshiba Code Free Blu Ray Player - Blu-ray Forum

I just bought a Toshiba BD 2300KU from 220 Electronics - it played my import DVDs in HD, my Region A Blu Rays but not a region B Blu Ray of a movie I have The Curse of Frankenstein
The disc would be stuck in loading mode and then fizzle, basically not making any noise and just be in limbo. I dont know what this means or what is going on,any suggestions ?
Its the only Region B Blu Ray so I dont know if my player plays others or not,I wont know until next week...maybe I have a defective player or the DVD set is defective ?

I just bought the BDX5300KU from them. there was a slip of paper in the box that said something about holding the number one on the remote while powering on to set BD zone A, hold 2 for Zone B and 3 for Zone C. I didn't pay too much attention as this is my first Bluray and I only have US discs so far and I didn't plan on getting any other zones. My main concern was region free DVD as I have a lot of DVD's I brought with me from England.
If that doesn't work, give them a call, I'm sure they'll get you sorted.
