For all I know this is a Code Red title, but it isn't an impossibility that the right are share between Bill and Walter. Code Red having the DVD right and Scorpions the blu-ray one is a realist possibilty.

Unless it isn't about the Danny Steinmann's movie but something else...

I was thinking it was the one Code Red put out. And I saw those posts on the facebook page. I'm 99% positive that it is official, but can Walter Confirm??

One of them must be fake... But which one?

I pmed their page and they said the "walt" one was the admin. Is this you walter? Or not? They also said in the reply that they added you twice and the first time their was a facebook glitch. So they then re-added you via the "walt" profile. It could've just been a mix up. They said they're more than happy to let you be an administrator, and that without you there wouldn't even be a Scorpion to make a page for. They also mentioned that you were the only one who could really answer all the questions and requests on that page, and that they've been advertising your twitter page like crazy.

That was the jist of the message.

By the way, any truth to "The Farmer"? It was mentioned in an interview you gave. Is it coming, and also "The Unseen"?

If you can find something (like a couple of January Criterion pre-orders) to pair it with at DD to activate the $10 off of $50 JOLLY code, it's $16.48 before discount. For example: Man Who Knew Too Much, Two-Lane Blacktop, and Death Ship would cost you $59.94 shipped, not counting 3% back from ebates. A decent deal, although you presumably wouldn't get Death Ship until the others shipped in January.

Im not much for DD as they dont provide tracking for media mail. And I wouldnt want to wait until January for something released in December, Im usually a Day One kind of a collector

I'm also a "day one" buyer - don't like to wait around, especially with movies I'm looking forward to. DEATH SHIP is one of my most-anticipated releases. However, I'm torn between getting my copy from Amazon on street date for $25 or ordering it from Importcd for $10 less and getting it in 2 weeks. There's a lot of stuff I still haven't purchased and saving a buck or two makes a real difference. If only Importcds wasn't so slow...

If you mean those hideous, grossly oversaturated cartoon colors from the DVD have vanished, you are correct.

The HD rip looks dramatically better.

Can't say I agree. I'm watching the blu-ray now, and while it does have really good detail it appears washed out and heavily skewed to the blue shift... which is disappointing, as you and others can complain about the colors on the dvd, at least people have more human skin tones.

Scorpion: why does the blu-ray look so much different from your own DVD release?

Judging from those screencaps, I'd say the DVD looks better - not just in terms of the colors but in overall brightness. If that's the way the Bluray looks, I'll take the DVD (Never thought I would hear myself say that).

that doesnt look like caps from my DVD, is it? Is that the UK DVD's cap? Both my DVD and Blu where encoded from the same source.
