It's not as bad as the Vs. remaster, but the original was still much better. Kicking myself for selling my clear Canadian original pressing when I first heard the reissue of Ten was being planned, thinking "it's Pearl Jam, they'll do vinyl right"

WRONG!!

Thankfully I scored a sealed original Vs. for $30 a couple months ago. Still keeping my eyes peeled for Ten and Vitalogy.

However I only heard the US pressing, maybe the MOV one is a lot better? I wish the original pressings had been done over 2LP's.

So the original pressing is better than the remaster? The store I bought the remaster from also had the original pressing for 20 more.

Just ordered Sade's "Promise", the new all analogue pressing from Audio Fidelity done by Kevin Gray. Really looking forward to this one, got it for $22 on Amazon marketplace sealed. Will try and track down Diamond Life as well if I can get it for a similar price.

The original of "Vs" is head over shoulders better. It may not be the same with Vitalogy. I've heard it's still better, but if your pressing is nice and quiet the difference may not be as apparent, spreading Vitology over 2LP's was a good move they didn't make with the original.

My latest purchase that i havent recieved yet is Corrine bailey Rae "The Sea"

Have purchased 3 times now from 3 different sources .

Ebay a few months ago and when i inquired about it they quickly refunded money .

Another order from Europe and after about 3 weeks , i get an email saying they were refunding me .

3rd order was from dvd4music which i ordered end of Nov. and when i inquired last week they stated they were having issues finding one and they would gladly refund me . what the hell .

Geeez , why do they people have them on there website if they don't have it .

Most frustrating and I agree. They just want to drive traffic to their site I guess.

Here's another issue I just discovered. Ordered Dido from The Music yesterday and decided this morning that it was too much, so I started to cancel the order. They won't refund your money is the order is paid via PayPal. WTF?

I ordered last month the John Frusciante bundle, and waited anxiously until yesterday for them to arrive. Combine that with his last two records he released this year and I now have all of his vinyl with the exception of 'Shadows Collide With People' to keep me busy forever.

I'm with ya on the "need a holiday to listen to everything". I've bought quite a bit of vinyl in the last year, but haven't nearly spent enough time listening to it. I wish I could find a day to just sit back and truly listen critically.

I'm not familiar with JF, but congrats on acquiring all of his output.
