True.....never done, although I've never been one of those audiophiles or videophiles looking for the latest and greatest. No matter what I've ever owned, I've always enjoyed the media I play through it. Because to me it's about the entertainment, not what it's played through.

I am however not immune to "upgraditis" when I see a good or great deal, and when I can, I try to take advantage of it. And sometimes one has to stretch.....

You are going to need a new stand if you get that reel to reel John. Or do you have something you would use already ?

Well I really didn't think you needed more subs but it would not be HTG without the call for more subs.

I have a 2-Tier Target stand that I traded some vinyl for with Rob, so yes I'm covered in that regard. I'm not optimistic about the R2R as the last several attempts over the past year haven't worked out. We'll see. It would be nice though.

I have thought about getting rid of the 8 & 12 inch & adding another 15 inch to the mix. It will give me one less thing in the room & with one up front & one behind me would be just fine for the size room I have. would But who knows what crazy thing I will do down the road.

The new speakers coming & vacation will be great for you to be able & spend time getting things dialed in & hopefully you will be able to spend time enjoying them before going back to work
