Hi,
I just watched Resident Evil Retribution and it dawned on me that 3D Blu Ray is the cats pajamas. Believe the hype... though there isn't any. 3D Blu Ray is the greatest invention that ever was. (Mostly a biased opinion but I'm in Home Theater heaven over here.)

Whomever is evading it is in for a pleasant surprise.
I'm willing to demo for anyone with 2 working eyes. Greatest AV revolution since stereo. I'm not exaggerating a bit. 3D Shouldn't be an option... It's so good it ought to be standard. -Brian

Maybe I was biased, but, um....yeah, was a bit: I'd been so used to watching my crystal-clear active Panny, I'm starting to prefer waiting and seeing 3D at home, than going out to the big theaters that never do it right. Last edited by EricJ; 12-21-2012 at 11:05 PM. |

I've been a fan of 3D since I saw MEET THE ROBINSONS in the theater several years ago, but had only seen it passively in the theater. That being said, I finally saw my first Blu-Ray 3D movie last night (FINDING NEMO) and was utterly blown away. The depth of the picture was incredible, like I was looking into another world.

Bluray will SOON be obsolete, but 3D especially in 4K(even 6K and 8K) resulotion will be the norm for sci fi and action/adventure movies in the years to come.
Have you checked out The Hobbit in a HFR 4K theater with Dolby Atmos? It's just totally |

Do you doubt it?
4K is like 20K currently... I don't do stuff like that. When the 4K Display comes to price levels a mortal can justify... Blu Ray will look amazing on it. I build my collection for keeps. I would have been ok with DVD but thinking back it did have some real problems. The biggest thing was lots of them were 4:3 not to mention none of them were HD. My collection will be Blu. My kids may have something newer. ![]() -Brian

The blu-ray haters have been saying that for years. Guess what? it's still alive, kicking and very healthy. It will last at least as long as DVD has.
Nothing is true, everything is permitted.

I have lazy eye in my right eye and, therefore, am "immune" to 3D movie technology since I do not see in 3D in the first place. I can wear the 3D glasses in a theater when a 2D version is not available, but I do not get the full effect, and the movie plays out like 2D to my eyes.
I bought my first HDTV and first Blu-ray player recently. I am inclined to think that, for my own situation, standard Blu-ray will be the "ultimate experience" for years to come. That's totally cool with me, since I am fairly new to the high definition world, and am still loving the novelty of the standard Blu-ray. |

Was just curious as to what projector you currently have. If I remember right you upgraded your projector but I forgot what it was.
