My parents wouldn't even know where to start when it comes to buying me movies, they can't keep up with what I buy for myself. My step mum gives me cologne (along with other gifts) every birthday and Christmas. It's been a 100ml bottle of Usher VIP for the last 2 years I think. I find myself using it everyday just to get through it, otherwise I have 3 or so new bottles sitting there at a time.

My guess she stocked up on a lot of it, you'll be smelling like USHER VIP for many years. We all have gift givers like that

I got a few cheeky blu-rays and DVDs under the tree (because I had to choose them myself) but we'll see if there's any surprises!

My parents got me a touch-screen 'smart' phone... yay. I think they forget my fingers are like twice their size so I touch three letters at the same time when trying to type on it.

Did well this year! Got a bunch of Blus the family took off my hands from Black Friday as well as a few other bits and pieces. Nice!

My brother just got back from the US and picked up so cool things - the Superman metal art plate and the stainless steel U.S.S. Enterprise pizza cutter. Sweet!

Only because it's not released on Blu-ray! Basically you can sum up my TV DVD ownership pretty easily: Star Trek, Aaron Sorkin, 24 and Chris Carter. If anything from those shows/showrunners is on Blu-ray I own it. If it's not then you can be sure I have it on DVD.

I'll be upgrading all my Star Trek as they come out, X-Files next year (I'd be all over Millennium and Lone Gunmen too! ), 24 when they bow on Blu (it's been mentioned they are being worked on now also) and would grab The West Wing in a heartbeat regardless of price.

It can if I didn't end up having to pay for it!

My folks are kind of the "let's take the easy way on things" people when it comes to gifts. They want to give them but they aren't big on hassle. They like to buy things but don't like crowds and don't like ordering for overseas. Put that together and it's kind of at odds to the whole buying gifts deal!

I sent out a list of all the deals I wanted over Black Friday and instead of them buying some I got the "you buy them and we'll pick what we want from them" line which is funny because they're also big on the "surprise" element. Suffice to say, basically it's either that I buy them or I'm at the mercy of whatever my mum buys and that is never a good position to find yourself in.
