I hope shout does the same with Aaahh!!! Real Monsters and Angry Beavers now that their final seasons are coming up in 2013. I just wish they got ahold of Doug, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Clarissa Explains It All, and Salute Your Shorts. At least with shout's help these shows are starting to see the light of day

I will for sure be getting this! That's a pretty good price compared to buying all the seasons separately.

That would be pretty expensive to do. These DVDs though are fine the way they are for now for a show I was watching when I was only 3 years old. But anyways I got the 1st 2 seasons on DVD from Shout! Factory, but now I want this collection.

Yeah, but I figure there are things of lesser quality that get the blu-ray treatment, so why not?
Anyway, like I said, I'll be nabbing this My Home Theater Gallery | My FS/FT/WANT Thread!

Now if only these releases were the original uncut versions. With the risque jokes restored.
Bat-Mite: "Batman's rich history allows him to be interpreted in a multitude of ways. To be sure, this is a lighter incarnation, but is certainly no less valid and true to the character's roots then the tortured avenger, crying out for mommy and daddy."

Unfortunately, Shout was provided with the cut masters from Nickelodeon. Apparently, all the uncut footage no longer exists any more. A shame but they definitely tried to secure it early on.
Slipcovers in need, PM me if you're looking to sell:

Yeah. Thankfully the number and severity of cuts is minor compared to some shows.

Yeah, exactly. Fortunately, there's still plenty of politically incorrect humor found in many of the cut episodes of "Rocko's Modern Life" that still make it a hoot to watch.

You know there are some scenes that were not banned that I thought would have been banned but are not especially from the 1st Season.

Well what's more expensive, remastering a low budget movie or a whole cartoon series from the early 1990s?

Now if we could only get that last season of The Adventures of Pete and Pete.
It's a shame how Nickelodeon has treated most of their properties. It's like, if it isn't Spongebob it gets sent to a vault, never to be spoken of again. They produced some amazing material in the 90s that still stands up, it's too bad they don't try to re-incorporate some of it into the network. |

Best pricing seems to be import CDs. $22.28 shipped, but I don't get why it is listed as a heavy item and charging more for shipping

I'm out of the loop, but just realized the voice of Rocko is the same guy who was Garcia on Reno 911. And looking over his list of work on IMDB, he's stayed quite busy and picked some good projects over his career. Loved this show as a kid and have been watching my first season dvd set. The complete series would be nice, too.
Detective Cameron: I got good news and bad news, girls. The good news is your dates are here.
Sorority Sister: What's the bad news? Detective Cameron: They're dead. |
