PAL support for LG 50PA6500 (US model)

Does anyone know if the LG 50PA6500 plasma (US model) supports PAL signals?

It's getting great reviews and the price is excellent - however I do need unconverted PAL support

Alternatively does anyone know of any US Plasma TVs that support PAL? I'm struggling to find any.

So I went to HHGreggs today with my DVD player locked on 576p. I plugged it into their display LG 50PA6500 plasma via HDMI and it worked! The info on the screen even supported it stating the 576p resolution.

Bizarrely, after switching to a different resolution I was then locked out of the 576p option as it seems I could only set it before plugging the DVD player in, but not during operation.

In any case, it worked. So I bought my first ever plasma TV today

By the way, to resolve any issues with PAL (as in the above or with aspect ratios etc), switch from an HDMI input to a component input and it will work beautifully. The TV seems to do an excellent job of upscaling because my PAL DVDs look absolutely gorgeous.
