I'm not sure Russ. I was very disappointed in the audio quality of the mic in my smartphone. I still have the vid on my PC so if anyone really wants to see it they could shoot me a email address.

Good morning AL...you too Russ!

Was at Future Shop at 6am and the crowds were insane! I managed to pick up a new Win8 compatible webcam for 50% off and a Western Digital 1TB Portable HDD for $69 ($30 off). I also finally bought a coffeemaker. I had wanted the KRUPS, but it isn't on-sale anywhere and I'm not paying full price. So I got a DeLonghi for $39.99 (regular $99.99). All in all I think I did ok.

But here is the beauty part. I'm standing in a line-up of I'm guessing 25 people, when I came to realize that FS had the coffeemaker on-sale. So I leave the line-up and find the Delonghi. Salesman rings me through and I'm in and out in less than 15 minutes. Woohoo!

Not only that....my Totem Sttafs are sold! Guy's giving me a deposit to secure the sale and we'll make the transition for the balance tomorrow!

Ummmm John? No mention of the PC monitor. Did you forget to pick that up?

No I didn't buddy. All they had was 20", 22" and 27". They had no stock of the 23.6 (24") I need. I was little disappointed, but I know Costco has one, so I'll go there later.

My family lives all over the place (Calgary, Vietnam, Oman), so it's a great way to stay in touch with Skype video calls. My old webcam wasn't Win8 compatible and the A/V was seriously distorted and lagging.
