I watched The Breakfast Club for the first time (at least in its entirety) last night. Really enjoyed it! I bought it for my sister and she was adamant that we watch it.

United Kingdom Wrong thred

I stupidly posted on the Good Night Mr Tom thred that We had watch Jason And The Arganauts on DVD. Some of it looked really good and I want to see it on Blu-Ray. Its such a great film and the fight scene with the Skelitons still looks amazing knowing full well they were fighting nothing during filming.

I got Redtails for Christmas on DVD from a friend but I already have it on Blu-ray.

I really liked that series, especially General Grievous who was a proper villain and not some asthmatic pantomime villain like he is elsewhere. He kills Jedi's and takes the lightsabers off the corpses he leaves behind!

Plus we get the
[Show spoiler]opening of Episode III
at the end of the show.

I bought the fourth series of Scrubs. I've owned the first three for ages but never purchased the ones that followed. I was pricing DVDs in-store and when I saw it, I immediately picked it up and stuck it in the staff purchases box. With my employee discount, it came to 3.74. Not bad.

Yeah, it's not too bad to be honest, nice upbeat stuff for this time of year
I remember when they were first broadcast on TV, but I never did see an entire episode let alone all the series.

I've probably seen the second one a lot more than the original so it was a pretty fresh experience. Nice quality AV as well.

American Movie - I got tired of renting it and waiting for a Blu release. SUCH a great documentary with outstanding extras. Maybe me buying the DVD will tip it over the edge for a Blu release

I watched Downfall on DVD last night. I used the DTS stream as its better than the DD stream. I find they speak a bit too quickley for me to follow the subs properly but I only had to rewind it a fiew times lol.

The sound was really really good. Totally enveloping and natural. Might have to get the french Bluray version for DTS HD-Master as apparently the german sku only had DTS-HR. Though it most likely won't have english subs on it so I'll have to think it through.
