I finally passed 300 a week or so ago. Need a bigger shelf, sadly.

Do any of you guys store your Blu Ray in storage bins? I'm trying to find a nice plastic bin that will fit Blu Ray cases well. Preferably something I can purchase at Target. Any thoughts?

Christmas put me over the 250 range. Time for a third bookcase and to slow down (over 100 purchases since Black Friday) for a bit.

I'll probably hit 400 by the end of January. That's all in a span of 6 months. Sheesh.

I got 42 more titles to go before I can be part of this club Those that have a huge collection, where do you find time to watch all your titles? Because the more you buy the more in your collection will go unwatched?

Starting to near 300, but can't see myself leaving this club for quite sometime. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing in my book.

Like i mentioned earlier in this thread, im merely hoarding. I buy titles i like which are selling really cheap but i probably wont watch soon. I probably have 200 or more unwatched blu rays. But i do try to watch 1 blu ray per weekday after work, if i dont have law school.

On weekends, when there are no fraternity events, i stay in and watch blus for hours as long as my eyes and brain can take it.

Just broke 100 Blu rays today with the Purchase of Dodgeball, Lost Boys, and Dr.No!
Walk down the right back alley in Sin City, and you can find anything.

Knock-knock-knocking on the 100 door, even though I think the number is a bit inflated (# of discs vs. # of actual movie titles), but hoping to cross the threshold, maybe this summer.

Christmas put me on the cusp of 200.

Standing at 195 (I think) Over 200 if you count triple features but for some reason I only count by case/set?

I count based on the number of different titles. I get a lot of triple features to save on storage space

Christmas just pushed me to around the 380 mark. Hard to believe I'm getting that much closer to a 50/50 Blu-Ray to DVD split

Finally reached the 100+ plateau with a bunch of James Bond movies I got for Christmas. Awesome!

It depends on the person & their viewing habits. When I was single, I watched what I bought as soon as I got home & there were times I bought 5 + DVDs .

Now that I'm married, I'd rather watch movies with the Mrs which is difficult because we have 2 kids, she's going back to school for her PHD & since I work in finance & it's the end of the year I'm putting in 10-12 hours a day. Last night we watched Safe House at 1am!

The Mrs doesn't mind if I watch movies without her (I've watched Prometheus & Inception without her but we saw those in the theater) but I enjoy her company when watching a movie, which is weird because I'd rather go to the movies alone.

Bottom line is if you want to watch a movie, you'll find the time.

Back on topic. I thought I'd hit 300 before the end of the year, especially with the start I had back in June but as soon as I got the catalogs I really wanted out of the way, my purchasing pace slowed to a crawl. I guess that's good, quality over quanity.

Dick Tracy will be my 200th blu. Been waiting for this one for a long time, so it makes a fine "centennial" addition.
