FAQ - Digital Copies (UV, CinemaNow, Vudu, Flixster, iTunes & Apps Help Thread)

I should start a new thread, but - I am trying to use Flixster on my iPad and can't seem to connect to my account. When on my Flixster account on my desktop, I have three movies there and can watch them. When I launch Flixster on my iPad, there are no movies there. It doesn't ask me for my user name and passcode and I can't seem to watch anything.

Can anyone help?

Try deleting the App, and installing it again.

Anyone ever noticed movies you didn't add on to your Flixster account are now part of your "Movies I Own" collection?

I checked my UltravViolet account locker and those movies are not there. It must be a glitch or something but I can't stream them as they are linked back to the UV site.

Movies that just appeared in my Flixster account are:
Boardwalk Empire Season 1
True Blood Season 1

I own TB Season 4, and Boardwalk Season 2.

I redeemed Blade Runner and Total Recal and neither is showing up in my Flixster account.

Did you try checking your UV account to see if they are both in your locker?

Sometimes it takes Flixster a bit for movies to show up on your account.

Yes, both movies are listed in my UV account.

That's good since it's "officially" redeemed. Now it's just all about the waiting game. Flixster and even VUDU were having some issues last night when I redeemed several titles but everything was posted on my account immediately.

I just hate when their server is acting up and you try to enter a code more than 2 times. Then it will lock the code and you would have to contact support (flixster) so they can reset the code. Usually they respond within 24 hours from my experience.

I just checked flixster and I have two versions of Totall Recall there and they both played fine

I bought Person Of Interest Blu/UV

I redeemed it thru flixster. Had two options.
Person of Interest or Person Of Interest
I picked lower case of
Now it won't play on flixster or download....

I got the Anniversary box of Lawrence for Christmas (which is amazing by the way). The only problem is that mine did not come with the paper for the code. I searched throughout the box but could not find it. I have heard of other people getting the paper in other releases with no code on it but never not getting the paper at all. Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice on how to get the code? Thanks

I've just signed up for UV... how come there is no cover art showing for some of the titles I've redeemed? Also..is it possible to delete titles? I don't see how.

Not possible to delete titles as of right now, but that is a feature that is coming in the future. I have a few titles that have the cover art issue but I don't care cause you don't use the site for actual viewing...

Both are disc based and SD

For me, it would be because when I upgraded my SD copy of Safety Not Guaranteed it is now showing 2 (the HD and the SD) versions of the movie in my UV locker instead of one.

One of the titles was through vudu..when you sign up, they give you a few free titles, none of which I want/care about...so I was trying to remove them.
