No need to comment on the D, that speaks for it's self. But I want to know what happened to Jamison? Seemed like he was playing well and then all of a sudden gets zero minutes for several games now.

Lebron's nightly stats are so good that it's getting embarassing. I can't believe that I don't even look twice when he's dropping 27pts, 12reb, 8asst, 4stl on a back to back.

Olajuwon and Bird are maybe the only guys i've ever seen put up stats like this consistently. Kidd too without the scoring.

Yep, I noticed that too. Perhaps D'Antoni is going with the "small ball" route, with MWP as a backup 4; so there is really not much PTs left for Jamison in this case. In addition, except for tonight, this "small ball" lineup seems to work so far, so I don't expect to see much of Jamison anytime soon.

EDIT: And along the same line or thinking, I am wondering what is up with Darius Morris' minutes. He is getting a start at SG over the past several games, but he would usually get only 7-8 minutes in total PTs. WTH? If he is not effective at all, why even play him?

I swear Wade gets away with so much on the court. He got away with a knee to the groin of Sessions right in front of the ref.

just saw this...unbelievable....Avery is a good coach, so thats now 2 good coaches D Will has gotten fired lol....

its not the coach, its the roster...team is a mess and royaly screwed themselves picking up johnson...

So he's fired for the team performing exactly how one would expect a team with that talent to perform? Did they really think adding a massively overpaid Joe Johnson would make tjem a contender? Sorry, but the Nets as they're currently composed is always going to be a 45-37 type team that ends up a 4 to 6 seed. They're basically what the Hawks were over the past several yeara.

The only problem is that Jamison is the only talented player they have on their bench. I figured Jamison was injured or something. He's been showing his age this season besides that one game but this is surprising.

Despite the rumors there is no way I see Phil Jackson coming back to coach this team.

I think their age has finally caught up to them. after years of saying this, i think the time has finally come. plus, Jason Terry isnt filling the Ray Allen void nearly to what they need.

No way Phil Jackson comes back to coach the Nets. He only wants teams that have an embarassment of riches as far as talent goes. He's always had a Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Bryant, O'Neal, etc. etc. He wouldn't risk tarnishing his legacy by actually coaching a team with less talent than a lot of other teams. This is coming from someone that grew up in Chicago a die hard Bulls fan in the Phil Jackson era. He's never coached a team that didn't have either the best player in the league or the best talent in the league, most of the time he always had both.

Phil Jackson said earlier this year on Real Sports that he never got a call from the Knicks about their coaching job, much less an offer. He also said if he had gotten an offer he wouldn't have taken the job because the players on the team don't fit together well.

I also think Larry Brown would be a good look for the Nets, it would be interesting to see him get one last shot in the NBA.

I think the Nets right now just have delusions of grandeur. I guess they think they can just throw together coach killer Deron Williams, constantly injured Brook Lopez and ridiculously overpaid Joe Johnson and be a contender. Doesn't work like that. They're never going to be better than a 4 or 5 seed with that group.
