I got my Matrix digi in from amazon and the corners were all beat up. I should have known better than to buy an older one. Time for a return/replacement. I'm getting to be a master at it.

Hi
I want to start collecting either Digibooks or Steelbooks but don't know which are the best. What is so great about Digibooks and why should I start collecting them instead of steelbooks? Thanks |

Digibooks will offer anywhere from 20-40 pages worth of actual 'behind the scenes' notes, pics, and commentary. Steelbooks, for the most part, are a total packaging thing. Typically improved artwork on the: front, back, and interior of the case. Doesn't happen so much anymore but some SB's would offer art cards inside as a litte bonus. In almost all cases, steelbook, digibook, and regular BD, the discs are the same. So that's a push. It basicially comes down to what packaging you like. |

and sometimes only digibook or steelbook is released along with amaray so might want to skip the dull amaray and get the "special packaging" that is available. |

Driving Miss Daisy Digibook out 1.8
![]() really great looking digi. no embossment on the cover, but the use of foil effects to accent the poster art is excellent. picture doesnt do it justice. ![]() The Jazz Singer Digibook out 1.8 ![]() another great looking digi, the whole cover is foiled, with different styles incorporated into the lettering (no embossment) this digi is huge, it might be the biggest one they have made. ![]() here is a spine shot with driving miss daisy to show the size difference.

Wow, thanks for the pictures!
How did you get them so early? That import website that releases everything weeks in advance? The Jazz Singer is definitely the biggest DigiBook to date. I'll pick them both up when they're on sale (although ~$19 for DMD seems to be the best it will be for a while). |
