Got a BestBuy to price match the online ad for Piranha 3DD for $5.99. Not half bad 3d in that one.

For those who don't already have it, Yogi Bear is going quite cheap and the 3D is great in this one with loads of 3D extras too....(All Regions apparently)

5.99$, very good price. Lowest I've ever seen. Yes, the 3D was really good.

Does Euro 7.99 convert to how much in US dollars? I was able to get it for 20 bucks awhile back, but was underwhelmed with the movie/3D, so I'll have to give it another chance. The extras have strong 3D, the movie, subdued 3D in comparison sadly. Nice pop outs though.

John Carter was on sale at BB and Amazon for $24.99. Had to get on this cause that's the cheapest I've seen it all year.

Hi Zivouhr....that's actually a Pounds sterling sign () not a Euro sign which converts to $12:52.

I'm surprised at your thoughts on this one. I saw it last year and thought the 3D was great. The scenes of the woodlands and forests around the characters really have a lovely depth to them. Worth checking out again maybe?

My Yogi Bear 3D review

I'll give it another go, thanks Gae. The movie wasn't too bad, about saving the park by raising money and the Ranger falling in love with the lady as the main plot. Boo Boo sounded nearly spot on, Yogi by Akroyd was a unique choice, but he captured the spirit of the character even so.

When I first played it, the extras looked amazing in 3D, so I was thinking the movie would look equally great, considering this is also from the guy who made Journey to the Center of the Earth, which is amazing for 3D.

12.52$ is a nice price.

EDIT: Yes, Yogi Bear does have really good to strong 3D. The first time I watched it, I remember I was sitting within 2 feet of the screen, diminishing the 3D effect as I'm more aware of these days. 2nd time, I sat back about 8 feet back and it looked way better. Thanks.

Yes, they raised RE 3D to 29.99 sadly. MIB 3, not sure what it is now. Both are great for 3D.

25 still sounds like a decent deal though. I might spring for either that or Dredd(ooooooh I just thought now that if the bluray for that is going at 20 I could probably get it for 15 0.0! lol)

Depends on what type of 3d you like... if you are looking for Pop out scenes.. than head over to

http://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=171400

I'll sum it up for you though... Sammys Adventures is the one most mentioned.. I think Yesasia has a 2 pack for with 1 & 2 (which is already getting high praise for use of pop outs)

I cant help much since I am just getting around to actually watching my 3d movies even though I have a collection of 40 or so of them.

Honorable mentions as far as reading through pages of threads:
Tangled
Titanic
Hugo
Kung Fu Panda 1/2
Beauty and the Beast
Legend of the Guardians
Toy Story 3
How to train your dragon
Journey to the Center of the Earth

Check out the review on the IMAX nature/science movies.. they always seem to get praise as well.
Panasonic 55" VT50
Onyko 809
Fronts: Polk 70s, Surrounds: Polk 50s, Sub:PSW505, Center: Paradigm
Optoma HD33
Pioneer Elite BDP-62FD
(360, PS3, Wii, Wii U)
Xbox One

Madagascar 3 and The Lorax are also great for pop outs

Avatar
The Avengers
Open Season
Megamind
Monsters Vs Aliens
Despicable me
Coralline
My Bloody Valentine

Are also have very good depth and a some pop outs.

If I was starting out I would recommend the 2 x Sammy's, Madagascar 3, Avatar and Hugo as the Top 5 3D discs on the market

They are mostly late, only had one come on time but with the savings I don't mind waiting a day or two. Amazon never come on time either if you choose free shipping.

For anyone whe may be interested, in the $7.99 bin at bestbuy was a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit blu. It's the same price online. Don't know how the 3d is because according to my wife. I don't need to see beautiful tropical locations in 3d.

Has anyone heard of or seen "War Flowers 3d"?

There is a listing here for it, but no reviews, and there are copies on ebay for $20, but I have been kind of burned by crap german blu's, so Im reluctant.
