If it's at all possible, I would love to get ahold of one of these from a member here on Blu-ray.com. If any Canadian local would like to help a brother out, that would be great.

Please let me know if anyone is willing to grab an extra copy and ship it to me in California.

Future Shop ****ed me over. I called them on Saturday to see if they were selling the Steelbook already. The employee insisted they weren't because apparently it's "illegal" to break release date. This morning, I drive 45 min to my local Future Shop only to find out all the Steelbooks sold. An employee told me ALL stores began selling on Friday, Dec 28th, because Walmart was selling early. Why the **** did they bother advertising the Monday, Dec 31st release date?!

The lack of a frame to hold the magnetic lenticular picture in place is disappointing (might slide around and scratch everything).
Germany does a better job with designing these.

surpised your store was sold out. when I picked mine up on firday not only did they have like 10 at the front were they still all the newest games and movies there was at least 15 more at the back shelfs were the movies were.

from what I been hearing seems like this one didn't go in a box. kinda weird the last one they messed up was expendables 2 witch was also an alliance steelbook.

Anyways, my nephew ordered a $200+ flash for his camera and they shipped out in one of those grey bubble envelopes. It was fine when it arrived. But still, not very smart!

I doubt it id figure there systems would be same weather or not it comes west or east. futureshop/bb just don't care how they ship stuff they just ship however is cheapest for them.like say a bluray players they just slap the shipping lable right on the retail box and ship it like that.

if they would just stoped using evnlopes for all movie shipments there wouldn't be a margen for error.but would also cost them a tiny bit more in shipping cost and they don't want to spend the extra money. but I mean come on when u think about in the long run the money they would save on damaged returns probly would far out weight the little bit extra cost of using boxes. and if they would get some small boxes that weren't huge enough to fit 20 blurays in it for small shipments it probly would even end up costing moe for the shiping

Just got an email saying the ones I backordered are being shipped...
I thought all the steelbook were shipped from the Ontario warehouse. My orders usually take about a week to arrive. Shouldn't shipment from Vancouver only take about 3 days with expedited?

I went to 2 stores yesterday looking for these, both stores used those spring loaded display that pushes the blu-rays to the front, so they all had scuff on the shrink wrap.
There were about 20~25 copies left at each store. Coventry and Sunridge in Calgary.
