They tried to resolve too many storylines at once in this episode, it felt horribly disjointed. I still think the combination of the satanic with aliens was an awful idea for a season. There just isn't a single person I can root for, most of the characters are extremely unlikable for one reason or the other.

People are complaining about how they're just throwing all kinds of crazy stuff at us, but did you not watch the first season? As I recall, they threw a lot of stuff at us. I love AHS, and I didn't like the second season at first, but it is getting better.

I loved the first season. It was truly fantastic stuff.
This season, quite simply, is a mess. There are good elements, there are bad elements. Ryan Murphy has stretched himself too thin. It seems like he can only have good episodes of one show at a time. Glee has been struggling greatly in terms of content lately. The New Normal started off pretty average, but has recently blossomed into a great show. AHS started with promise this year, but quickly failed as The New Normal became his best show. He is doing way too much, and all of the shows were in production at the exact same time. That is way too much work for someone to be doing...not to mention a new season of The Glee Project is about to start filming as well. |

I don't hate this season, but it's just...weird at times. You can compare the seasons as two separate shows, as that's essentially what they are. Season 1 was by far the better of the two. Granted, we still have a few episodes to go, so anything can happen. I think I might enjoy season 2 more when I have the chance to watch it over a weekend rather than throughout a few months.

It's not my fault you read it, let alone came into a thread without being caught up. There are those of us that don't feel it's nessesary to put spoiler tags on something that already aired and those who think people should. Considering that, the people who want them try to force them on everything and the people who don't care for them don't try to force those of you who do want them. The argument happens in almost every TV show thread that doesnt specifically say to use spoiler tags. And every time the argument is pointless. If you aren't caught up but go into a show's thread or read anything about it, you're the one taking the risk of reading something you didn't want to. It's no ones fault except for your own. Name calling is unnecessary though.
