So I've got these Digital Copies. Specifically:

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter 3D
Ice Age: Continental Drift 3D
Prometheus

The instructions tell me that they have UV and iTunes DC and they give me separate methods to redeeming them. Does this mean that I can download both? I can download the UV one by simply following the instructions to go to the website and the iTunes one by putting in a disc and then follow the instructions to redeem? Basically a one code fits all type of deal.

The reason that I'm asking is because I had Prometheus listed for sale and somebody said that they needed a disc to redeem the UV when the instructions did not say anything about a disc.

Yes, you can redeem both iTunes and UV with just that 1 code provided.

Recent titles from studios like Universl, Fox, or Lionsgate for example provides digital copies for iTunes and UV.

As for the member needing the disc for Prometheus, he needed the disc to redeem the iTunes movie.

I had that happen with Falling Skies and I just exchanged it at Best Buy no problem. I tried e-mailing WB I think it was and got no response so I just took it back. I was thinking they would be difficult about it but it was honestly one of the easiest returns I've ever had.

If I redeemed a DC of a movie in SD, can I redeem another DC that will play in HD?

Yes, you should be able to redeem multiple DCs for the same title. So in your case, if the first code redeemed in SD you can redeem another code to get the HD (assuming the code grants you access to the HD version).

From what I have been told cinemanow just linked up with ultraviolet.
I see afew of the movies offer the UV with them with more to follow I've been told from members here.
When/if others do offer UV will we have to rebuy the movies again?

Don't know of any list, but a fair number of Universal digital copies let you get an Amazon digital copy rather than iTunes/WMP like this one: http://universalhidef.com/digitalcop...9-90ec863776dc.

Be mindful that Universal's redemption code on Amazon will often only apply to the SD version of the streaming movie. I know The Grey is that way and some others.

When you transfer a Digital Copy to Itunes, can you then transfer it to an Ipod/Ipad and still have it on the Computer? or does transfering it to the portable device delete the one on the computer?

No from a computer to an ipad/pod a copy exists is both places.

hey

i know that itunes digital copy can be downloaded/redeemed if you're outside of the united states as long as its a US itunes account...but what bout ultra violet? is there a workaround to redeem the codes if you're in an another country?

Has anyone had any luck getting a Sony digital copy code extended? I was looking through my dvds and found a code for Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, it expired in 2010 and says invalid in itunes. Sony didn't extend their expiration date like WBs did they?

My copy of Total Recall (2012) did not come with a UV code, it is supposed to. It is Sony movie. Can I use that email addy to contact them about missing codes?
