And then........
"But at some point during the winter he must of suffered a complete mental breakdown, he ran amok........and killed his family with an Axe, stacked them neatly in one of the rooms in the west wing and then he, uh, put both barrels of a shotgun in his mouth. The police thought it was what the oldtimers used to call cabin fever"

I'd love to find the time to do that. I've had it since the Summer and still can't get the perfect window in my schedule.

Just watched 'No Country For Old Men'. I honestly don't know what is so good about this movie.

[Show spoiler]i was pissed it didn't show Llewelyn getting killed or his wife even. Also, at the ending when sugar gets hit by a car, I was just sitting there saying "wtf just happened?" Then tommy lee jones is just talking to the guy in the wheelchair and the movie ends? Idk I guess this was just a movie that you HAD to read the book to understand.

I'm off to Muerto County in Texas with some friends to claim a birthright I never knew I had. Just passed a sign that reads, "Welcome to Newt." Hmmm didn't something happen here once a very long time ago?!!!! ;-P

The ambiguity at the end of the movie is what distinguishes it from every other cat and mouse action thriller out there. Also the memorable performances by Brolin, Jones and an especially chilling performance by Bardem make this Oscar worthy. Also noteworthy is Deakins great cinematography and Coens' attention to 80's period design and choice of bit players. One of my all-time faves.

I will probably start watching the Dangerous Days doc or Blade Runner: The Final Cut. I'm in the Blade Runner mood from watching the International cut last night.
