Not really horror, but Shaun of the Dead. Think it did a lot for zombie flicks...the slow moving classic zombies. After that Romero put out a few more, even gave Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg cameos in Land if the Dead. Then Walking Dead! I never cared much for the 28 Days or Resident Evil kind of zombies.

Hard-core? Sounds pretty mellow to me. Like the sound though. A bit like some kind of Twin Peaks/Surfer hybrid.

Most of the blu-rays that I'm looking to buy are ones that I've previously owned but had to sell in order to pay some bills a while back. Yes I have seen Insidious. It has lots of jump-scares in it. I really enjoyed it. I like serious horror movies, but I really love comedy-horror movies a lot too. Shaun of the Dead is awesome!

Hello Russ.

That's a cool classic psychadelic song.

Yeah that happens to me a lot for some reason. U.S. shipping is all messed up and inefficient.

I'm being a good boy.

Just picked this up:

I haven't seen it in many years. I'm really looking forward to checking it out tonight.

Yes it seems quite the gamble but then again lots of things simply aren't possible getting other places than in the US.

I've never seen Jaws. Is it worth something?

I wouldn't say it's a gamble. You will eventually get it, it just doesn't make any sense to me how they ship stuff back and forth all over the country. Seems horribly inefficient and a big waste of time and gas.

Like I said, I haven't seen Jaws in a very long time, so I don't really remember, but it is a Steven Spielberg film and I love the vast majority of his movies, plus it has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes which is pretty much unheard of. I've also seen it on numerous "best films of all time" lists and according to the review on this site it has great A/V quality.

That's great what you've read about Jaws. Mr. Spielberg certainly is a great director.

Damn I cannot wait for my projector and new screen arrives. 32" dinosaur lcd technology sucks. I also think it's on it's last life as im starting to notice streaks of artifacts across the panel.

Maybe i should just get a small samsung smart tv or wait a little while and get an oled panel (pretty excited about this new tech ) .

I really hope you get your pj soon too. Are they going to fix the one you're shipping back, or send you a different one?

No, I got crazy last night. Tonight I'm just going to relax on the couch and watch some movies, starting with Jaws. Haven't seen it in many years, and I just picked it up on BD today.

Troy the Ebay seller told me he would give me a new one. So the swap out should go swiftly.
