None, the same as you. The difference being, it didn't take us 42+ plus years to get our first. I look forward to our disagreements D-B, you're a good lad and a knowledgeable hockey fan.

What time will the schedule be released
When i got home that evening, I went straight to the garage and practiced my draw and SHOUT techniques as well as my roll, somersault and aim drills and made myself a promise that I would never ever be caught off-guard again.-dfinch

I was just thinking, my TV hasn't been used for anything else than movies since last years playoffs (personally I think TV programming has sucked for many years with rare exceptions, but that's for another thread). I wonder how long I'll stick to my guns about not watching 1 game this year (I actually did already compromise my stance to include playoffs if interesting)

Yup looks like a few more hours on the schedule and such.

Quote:
The National Hockey League Players Association has voted to ratify the new Collective Bargaining Agreement with the NHL.

The Union announced the results of the ratification vote its membership conducted over a 36-hour period ending at 8 a.m. ET Saturday. The vote was done electronically, via secret ballot.

The National Hockey League ratified the proposed 10-year CBA on Wednesday with a unanimous vote by its 30 teams at a Board of Governors meeting in New York City.

Now that both sides have ratified the agreement, each side must sign a Memorandum of Understanding before the CBA becomes final. The MOU is basically an abridged version of the CBA, spelling out the terms under which the League and its players will operate.

Once the MOU is signed by both parties, the mechanics of the 2012-13 season -- the release of the regular-season schedule, the opening of training camps and official contact between teams and their players -- will begin.

Just curious as I really didn't follow any of this, but which team had the most players still playing elsewhere, which I believe might be a substantial advantage.

Now that's real interesting, imagine 6 months of fast paced European style hockey training, these guys are gonna be sharp and with such a short season ahead they might just be what you needed to move up. Wouldn't that be nice for you

Per John Lu:

Quote:
Bergevin decided at 7:30 am to order Gomez to stay at home. They will pay him (counts on the cap) with intention to buy out in summer.

Bergevin was in Toronto yesterday to talk with Don Meehan and Subban. Says talks have been healthy but no update on progress.

Bergevin says he is not pinning blame for last season on Gomez. This was mainly a financial decision. Says Gomez took news like a pro.

Plekanec is day to day with the rib injury he suffered in December in the Czech Republic.

Gomez will be a compliance buyout, aka amnesty buyout' which means next season his go away money will not count against Habs cap.
