I was just thinking, my TV hasn't been used for anything else than movies since last years playoffs (personally I think TV programming has sucked for many years with rare exceptions, but that's for another thread). I wonder how long I'll stick to my guns about not watching 1 game this year (I actually did already compromise my stance to include playoffs if interesting)

Once the MOU is signed by both parties, the mechanics of the 2012-13 season -- the release of the regular-season schedule, the opening of training camps and official contact between teams and their players -- will begin.

Just curious as I really didn't follow any of this, but which team had the most players still playing elsewhere, which I believe might be a substantial advantage.

Now that's real interesting, imagine 6 months of fast paced European style hockey training, these guys are gonna be sharp and with such a short season ahead they might just be what you needed to move up. Wouldn't that be nice for you
