I've just treated myself to one of these today.

Hey guys I'm new to the boards, been reading it for the past few weeks and I gotta say I like the kind of people and topics going on here. I got a 65" Vizio 3D LED smart tv in my living room with a Sony 3D blu ray surround sound. Finally got my dream set up and man I am hooked on 3D movies.

I have a Samsung 8000 series plasma tv upstairs and my pioneer kuro blows it away in 2d. My Samsung tv is also terrible in 3D, lots of disconnects, crosstalk and ghosting. I have tried different glasses (returned a whole lot of them), tried different brands and the damn tv is terrible in 3D. Hopefully Samsung has improved on this.
If I replace my kuro (when it dies), I will probably look into Panasonic TVs. I have heard good things on the VT series but when my tv dies, they might have something new.
Love 3D technology and am addicted to it.

Not discounting your opinion, but I would hesitate coming to such a generalized conclusion. |

If you searched than you would have seen that the 2010 version of the 8000 series had lots of problems. There were even suggestions to putting electrical tape over most of the ir sensor on the glasses to help with the connection which I tried also. I was an early adopter of 3D and bought the Samsung when 3d first came out. I guess that is why Samsung had dropped IR glasses to go to rf glasses because of the issues. Now the newer Samsung tvs might be better but mine sucked and I also stated that hopefully they have improved on this. Also, if you read my post, I said my tv sucked and did not generalize all Samsung tvs as you indicate in your post. I don't care about the Samsung tv anyways because I don't do my 3D viewing on it because of all the problems.
Love 3D technology and am addicted to it.
