I stopped watching Resident Evil after part 1 - I thought the first two video games were much better but that's were I stopped years ago.

I'm not a big comic book movie fan - I prefer straight action which is why I liked Die Hard and Die Hard 3. So I don't know about the X-men movies. Last one I saw was X2. Are the transfers new on these with each set?

Predator - I do know about this being remastered with a forest that some say looks like a video game. So I'll give you that one. It was remastered twice - once in 2008 and 2010, right?

Alien - Wasn't this only remastered once so far for Bluray? I looked at Amazon and see two sets. One for the US and one for an import.

I don't know about the Alien vs. Predator movies. I only saw the 1st and would never watch it again.

I just watched Die Hard 2 today. I have to say that I do like it better than part 4.

I think I changed my mind and will buy the new set and toss the old one I have. Just a change of thought and maybe if enough people buy they will remaster them for Die Hard 6 if it gets made.

After reading most of this thread I guess I'm the only member here buying this set lol! Wonder what the actual release week price will be. Hoping I'll be able to pair the release week sale price with a $5 RZ certs. & BBY's U&S promotion.

Briefly: Its been confirmed through our own sources that 20th Century Fox's fifth new Die Hard movie, A Good Day to Die Hard directed by John Moore, will be receiving an R-rating from the MPAA. After a number of impressively kick ass trailers, everyone has been waiting patiently for a rating. I was honestly expecting a PG-13 like 2007's Live Free or Die Hard. But as of last night, confirmations of an "R" started arriving. I tweeted it out myself off a tip, Collider also posted a story, and I trust where this is coming from. We're still waiting for the exact wording from the MPAA on why, but the studio is expected to release it as "R" starting February 14th. Bruce Willis stars with Jai Courtney in this latest Moscow-set action thriller. »

Fox released this cool one sheet for the series marathon set for Feb 13th!
They will do the other films as well.

The original Die Hard (and the sequels) are some of the best action movies ever made! I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for the adventures of John McClane!

Way back on May 26, 2000, a group of Southern California members from the Home Theater Forum got a chance to attend a screening of the first DVD release of Independence Day. The screening was held at Fox studios. Before the tour of the studio (and subsequent ID4 screening), we met at Fox's Home Entertainment building (aka, Nakatomi building). You're not...I'm getting it. It'll be the first time for me buying it and I don't mind having this set separate from the upcoming 5th movie. I mean, as far as I know, there wasn't a set with all four Mission: Impossible movies.

I want a good stand-alone edition of the first Die Hard. There's one out now in places, but I'd also be content to hold my horses until the above-mentioned 4K restoration comes out.
