I'm too young to know or remember anything before Tomorrow Never Dies. I only remember GoldenEye on N64, and I played it all the time. I don't know how much the movie translates into the game or vice versa, if at all.

I couldn't tell you what happens in any of them it's been so long (except for the last three of course, Casino Royale, QoS, Skyfall). From what I can remember, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, and Die Another Day were all pretty good.

So what is your opinion on the three I just listed... And which others do you recommend I take a look at...

With the exception of Diamonds are Forever, I don't think any Bond film is bad.

Yes, some are better than others but they're all enjoyable in their own way. And if you haven't seen any of the older ones, I highly suggest you just start at the beginning and enjoy them all!

I ordered a used (hopefully) mint-condition copy of the Casino Royale Collector's Edition for ten dollars this week, and it should be arriving in the mail soon.

This will be my first "double-dip" in my Blu-ray collection. I don't do that often, but I really wanted the visual commentary. This is one of my all-time favorite movies, so it deserves the purchase.

I ordered this just after Christmas and it arrived in about a couple of weeks. No duty or taxes. So 127.51 CAN all in.

I haven't watched any of them in their entirety but I have put each disc in to make sure they work and to watch maybe about 15 minutes or so. I like the cold openings that then cut to the theme songs. I have to admit that I have played the A View To A Kill theme song about a half dozen times because I LOVE IT!

I will confirm that the only disc that does not work is Quantum. It's too bad that I can't send that disc in somewhere to have it exchanged. I will pop by some local shops to get a standalone copy of Quantum.

All in all I am happy that I have the set. I did get an e-mail alert from amazon.ca notifying me that the Bond 50 set with hardcover book is available again. All in that purchase would cost 271.02 CAN.

Lazenby: OHMSS (totally underrated by a lot of people)
Moore: The Spy Who Loved Me
Dalton: The Living Daylights
Brosnan: Tomorrow Never Dies
Craig: Casino Royale

The answer to that question mostly depends on your favorite Bond actor. People who loved Sean Connery will generally rank his films very high. Same for people who enjoyed Timothy Dalton or Roger Moore.

The best films for each actor:

• Lazenby: On Her Majesty's Secret Service
• Moore: The Spy Who Loved Me
• Dalton: Living Daylights
• Brosnan: Goldeneye
• Craig: Casino Royale, Skyfall

Sean Connery and Daniel Craig are without a doubt the two most popular Bonds. There are a few people who prefer Moore, Dalton and Brosnan... but those opinions are clearly in the minority. Opinions will also depend on how open you are to watching "old films". Make no mistake about it --- if you grew up watching Brosnan & Craig Bonds, then the Connery and Moore versions will seem quite dated. Some young people can't get past that.

Die Another Day is a terrible, terrible movie. It routinely ranks as the worst Bond film (or second worst after A View to Kill) in virtually all opinion polls I've ever seen.

Tomorrow Never Dies can best be described as a "generic" bond film. I don't think it does anything particularly well, nor does it do anything particularly bad. Pierce Brosnan fans like it well enough, but most everyone else consider it a below average entry.

The World is Not Enough gets a lot of hate, mostly because people feel Denise Richards was horrendously miscast as a "nuclear scientist". I personally think Denise Richard's casting is the single-most misunderstood aspect of the entire Bond saga. Her ridiculously shallow bimbo scientist was supposed to contrast with Sophie Marceau's layered portrayal of the tragic Elektra character. Bond was betrayed by a woman he genuinely loved (Elektra), and he copes by immediately hooking up with the polar opposite of that woman (Christmas Jones). I personally think The World is Not Enough was one of the better Bond outings, but I'm in the minority with that opinion.

The World is Not Enough is actually one of my favorite Bond films, as well. While Denise Richards is not a very good actress, she is definitely hot and sexy eye candy. Before she got old, that is.

I'm watching "The World Is Not Enough" right now, and I'm really enjoying it. It's my favorite of the Brosnan movies. I'm so glad I got the boxed set. I've watched one per night and they are great on blu.

About TEN hours worth of extras from the Special Features of Die Another Day (including Madonna's music video of said title) were not transfered to the Ultimate Edition or Blu-Ray version. You have to have Disc 2 from the Special Edition DVD to get them all. I know Die Another Day is universally hated, but extras are extras!

I wouldn't say "clearly" in the minority: In 2004 Moore was voted 'Best Bond' in an Academy Awards poll, and he won with 62% of votes in 2008.

Roger Moore is my personal favorite James Bond despite me knowing that Sean Connery is the best overall...

At least Quantum of Solace had a tolerable theme song and they tried despite everything being rushed.

Though I find Craig to be my favorite Bond regardless.

Also, why chose Madonna for a Bond theme song? Was that another stupid attempt at being hip? It's worse than Lulu's The Man With The Golden Gun.
