Damn, why does every European exclusive of a genre title seem to be censored, interlaced, and/or an upconvert?

Well south and central mainland Europe west of Poland at least. It's really odd too as a lot of these upconverts have hd masters out there. Creepshow 2 has played on a few different hd broadcast stations with a clear hd picture.

Hey Mr. Dig, I see you have the Italian disc of Creepshow 2. How is the quality? So far I have only read three bad reviews about it. I would love to pick this up but only if the quality is good. Thanks.

Hello Retroj23!
I don't have good news for you!.
The picture quality is bad. Looks like a bad dvd upscaling. The R2 special edition dvd from Anchor Bay looks better than this blu-ray. I also noticed some problems with the english soundtrack on this blu-ray. The Italian and German blu-ray of this movie have been a disaster,so let's hope a US or UK release will come soon. Hold on to your Anchor Bay dvd if you have it!:-)

It's come to the point where I'm considering buying the DVD instead, since no one seems to be able to release an uncut version in HD. If I do buy the DVD, I'm sure an uncut BD is released right after. Come on! Anybody! Give us a good release of this film! The Raft is sitting there, unused!
