I don't know. I'm currently waiting for amazon to send me my griffin code. I may have to make a phone call today

Did anyone receive their promotional code from Amazon without having to contact them? I had assumed it would have been emailed to me after the purchase. However, having not received it yesterday when I received my copy I emailed them today (it took a couple of hours but they did email me the promotional DLC code).

As for the game, only an hour in... just got to Ding Dong Dell... not much gameplay in that first hour, but I very much like what I have seen so far.

I am Ding Dong Dell too... but a little ahead of you guys. I just found the lost cat in Motorville and now I am back in Ding Dong Dell.

Still no other familiars for me... maybe 2-2.5 hours in.

I currently have two familiars. I still prefer the familiar that I got in the forest though. Not really a fan of the new one.

I am going to email Amazon about my code. I will give them until this afternoon though.

I wonder if Amazon ran out of codes... I know that Amazon ran out of stock on this game already, thus maybe they don't have enough DLC codes for everyone from the get go and are only sending out the DLC codes to people who are asking or people who pre-ordered 1st.

Demand of this game is high. I know my local Gamestop stores have sold out of their copies too.

Played for about 2 hours last night after getting home from my J lessons. I'm itchin to ditch work now to play. I was in Ding Dong Dell as well, bout to get some new threads!

I agree with you about the second familiar at first. Mine is now a level 9 with a new weapon and he isnt that bad during combat. I still prefer the 1st guy though.

As for the story. I just got my wand and I am about to finish up the rest of the side quest in Ding Dong Hill. I am about 2.5 hrs in and just hit level 10 with Oliver.

Not sure... I have the original familiar so far. My Griffy familiar is nothing more than a ticket in my inventory right now since I can not trade it in yet.

I hoped that Rat could answer the question on when we get to use the DLC familiars... I knew he got the guide too, thus I was wondering why he wasn't using his Gold Hurley since the 2nd familiar sucks.

The email got it done. They were very apologetic. I think that they were definitely overwhelmed by the demand for the game. There is a 1-2 week wait for current orders. Crazy!!! Glad that this appears to be a big success
