We got through about half the back orders today, anyone not receiving tracking info will ship for sure on Monday. We have most of them built but fedex doesn't want to do a late pickup as the roads here(NE Ohio) are pretty bad right now.

Thanks to all for being so patient too. Between the holiday and a couple of our key vendors diverting resources to the NAMM show everything got pushed back a day or two.

Is PSA considering getting into a sub that is in the $499 range, similar to SVS's PB1000? Say in a 12inch sub. That would certainly take market share away from the competition, if that was created.

Had some friends over tonight for movie night. After our movie(didnt have any LFE) I played couple scenes for them from WOTW. They just laughed and the one goes "wow this is crazy." I didn't play the scenes to to loud since the HSU STF1 in the mix would bottom out but the XV15 always holds it's own. Played couple parts from Finding Nemo. The whale scene and the submarine, played them a little louder than normal. Puts a big grin on your face.

I watched Dredd last night, that movie has rumble throughout the entire movie, or so it seems.
It was just the Dvd played with PowerDVD from my computer though, I may have to rent the BD version.

I thought it was a great movie. Good AQ, incredible LFE. Story wasn't bad...

Yea, I enjoyed Dredd. I liked some of the ideas they had in the movie. When the folks would take the drug and everything would slow down. Entertaining movie and some good LFE.

Perhaps at some point. We have a few design ideas "in the mix" but nothing is nearing completion or anything like that. I agree with you that the lower the price point the larger your potential customer base grows. However, our focus is on customer satisfaction/enjoyment rather than sheer sales numbers.

There is also the balance of value too. A decent $500 unit may seem like a great bargain until you notice it may take 2 or 3 of them to equal the output from a single $800 subwoofer. And if that $800 also provide deeper extension, better group delay, less ringing/stored energy....is the value still there? Perhaps for some.

We definitely like hearing these types of suggestions though it really lets know what everyone wants to see next..

FWIW, I too believe there's merit in a $500 sub. Based upon my observations there appears to be tremendous sales volume in the $300-$500 range; it seems to be a "sweet spot" of sorts. I suspect what PSA could deliver for $500 would very likely be impossible for the competition to match.

Most of what I've seen indicates that if someone has $800 to spend for a sub they're likely going to use it all on a single unit - I don't see too many of those folks looking for a pair of $400 subs in that instance. PSA offers a huge value proposition already, so to an extent there's considerable logic to bringing your prowess to the $500 club. That's just my 02 though...

I just got my XV15 and all I can say is WOW!!!!!. I did a test run without it being calibrated. (Will calibrate with Audyssey tonight). Simply AMAZING!!!!!
