I'm dreading the so called horrible season 6 finale but at least the season is starting off nicely, Drive and Triangle must be up there in the best motw episodes
I really liked seeing all of them in period costumes when I'm done I think i'll do a mini marathon for the best episodes Last edited by Tony208; 01-26-2013 at 09:38 PM. |

Season 6 has lots of comedy moments, I think. Maybe people prefer the more serious tone?

I know I do. But some of the comedy stuff was done really well.
May Hauls: The Nest, Captain America 1990, Superman: Unbound, One Hour Photo, Alpha Dog/Assault on Precinct 13 2-Pack, Pitch Black/Riddick 2-Pack, Texas Chainsaw 3D, Hollow Man/Hollow Man 2 2-Pack, Happy Birthday to Me/When a Stranger Calls 2-Pack, WizardxFourze: Movie War Ultimatum, Dark Skies

Season 6 was a snooze fest. Thank God Season 7 is kicking ass and going back to the scarier basics of X-Files motw.

finished it in 2 and a half weeks
It was nice seeing Doggett [Show spoiler] Series finale was very average, I guess it was good to see Mulder and Scully back together even for a little while. the bad... basically the bad guys won [Show spoiler] Overall there were some really good episodes and the mythology was good for the first couple seasons. My main problem with the last 2 seasons was that Reyes was never an equal to Doggett like Scully and Mulder were to each other. Reyes was just a sidekick. And it kinda sucked that they never ended an episode with a Reyes or Doggett's case report voiceover. Last edited by Tony208; 02-07-2013 at 04:42 AM. |

I think my biggest question mark was the Series Finale ends with the X-Files department going to classified and shut down... Mulder and Scully are basically fugitives from the Aliens running the FBI and possibly the government (unfortunately nobody could ever help prove Mulder DIDN'T kill Noah Rowher). Doggett and Reyes are accessories to their escape.
Skinner looks like he's gonna get punished by the alien heads running the FBI and the same for Hirsch. Because Gibson praise exposed who the aliens were running the FBI's sham of a trial for Mulder, that means they were going to throw the hammer down on Skinner and Co. Yet the movie in 2008 which supposedly picks up the continuity, Skinner is still working at the FBI as AD, and Mulder and Scully get picked up by the FBI to investigate a priest supposedly molesting a young boy? I mean the FBI had to find Mulder and Scully hiding in Canada, but they it's almost as if they just dropped what happened in the Series Finale altogether. Slipcovers Wanted

Oh and Doggett's episode on how he found his son's killer was awesome.
The piano piece was beautiful. Played twice in that episode first after "The Tip" where Doggett goes to an abandoned apartment based on a tip someone gave him, and then "The Message" where the schizo FBI cadet is in his apartment and the SWAT team breaks down his door and they find the thousands of pictures on the wall.
