I am not 100% but I think somewhere around 550. It was just a regular shelf that I bought from a local store that makes and sells only wood furniture. The shelf was 12" deep and I had them cut it be be around 7" deep and I customized the shelve position and had a few extra ones put in. I think I am going to have them make one that is ~2' wide to go beside the big one.

I have been collecting DVDs and Blu-rays since 2001 or so, and up until last week I never had a proper large main shelf. I picked one up last week and ended up with this one from Amazon...
http://www.amazon.com/Atlantic-38435.../dp/B0058O8GWW The latest review, by lumkinsc98, is mine and two of the pictures are mine that I uploaded as well. I highly recommend it, especially for people diving into a shelf like this for the first time. The titles do stick off the side of the shelf, but not by much. It certainly isn't a big deal to me. Of the reviews on Amazon, one is one star and two are five stars including mine. The main complaint of the one star review is that they had bought this shelf in the past and then bought another one later on and they changed the shelf to make it so titles do stick off just a tiny bit, and they were unhappy with that since they wanted them to match. If you never had the old version, I think most people would be very happy with it. It was also very easy and quick to put together, and I usually have no clue what I'm doing. (I have sense put up sun blocking curtains at the window to prevent sun damage) ![]() I have that large shelf, the smaller one to the left of it used almost exclusively for Criterions Blus, and one more smaller shelf in the living room for 3D, animated, and random sets and movies. I once had over 2,000 DVDs but have since sold almost all of them off, and I now have almost 550 Blu-rays. http://brentlumkin.filmaf.com/owned/blu-ray |

Once I get all my posters framed I'll take more pictures. I have an autographed Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon poster. I'm adding another signature to that at Monster-mania in March. Scott Wilson who played Eugene and is Hershel in The Walking Dead will be at the show. I already have it signed by the actor who played Leslie Vernon and Robert Englund. I have a few other posters signed by various actors.
That boy is about to seek revenge over the town that murdered him. He knows this, he says, because he himself is the heir apparent to that throne of terror so long held by the likes of Voorhees, Myers and Krueger. This man's name is Leslie Vernon.

I've been building this collection since I got my PS3 back in 2009 and it has grown quite large for my college sized budget. Just recently was able to get over 200 blu-rays thanks to the holidays and U&S at Best Buy. Here are some pics.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Yes I am still holding on to my HD-DVDs picked them and the player up for less then $50 and have seen no reason to part ways with them. ![]() And my 42" TV to enjoy them all on. Currently have a Sony BDP-S570 for my Blu-Rays and a Toshiba HD-A2 for the HD-DVDs. Also enjoying 7.1 Surround but need to pick up a better sub at some point. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-...Tower/16451702 Not the best quality but they are the perfect size for Blu-Rays and get the job done. I've got a ton more games those are just my boxed copies. I've picked up a lot of it from yard sales over the years. People in my area seem to have been Sega fans. I've also got quite the Sega Saturn collection too been working on coverting them to DVD size cases as I picked up probably 30-40 disk only games. ![]()

Luckily this closet has about 4 extra feet of shelf space than my old closet, but the collection is growing & soon I'll have to stack movies in front of the movies you see now. I may have a solution about where to put a media tower but I'll have to talk the Mrs into it. I'm also considering getting rid of the slips. Jan 29, 2013 ![]()
